We are two 60 something married couples who have been meeting for the past thirteen years for a vacation together. The resort was easy to find with a large sign on the highway directing us to Registration. Registration did take about 20 minutes as we arrived right at 4:00 PM along with everybody else. You check-in and then are directed to the Activities desk where the resort activities are explained to you and the area shopping and restaurants are recommended. They do try and get you to attend a sales seminar where a simple but polite "No thanks" sufficed to end that conversation. We were assigned to a unit in the Peregrine section. What we had could best be described as four-plex and we had half of it with two one bedroom units with an interior door between. Both sides had a kitchen, dining area, bathroom, bedroom, and living area.. It worked out well for the four of us. One unit was somewhat larger than the other so except for sleeping, most of time was spent in that unit. The unit(s) was spotlessly clean although a tiny bit worn and slightly dated. The dining area had a table and 6 chairs with a breakfast nook with another table and two chairs. There is a bar between the kitchen and dining area with two stools. On the second day we discovered there was a hot tube in a bump out on the back of the building. We used it several times and had it to ourselves every time. The kitchen is small but contained everything we needed to cook a meal for four. A time or two we "borrowed" a item or two from the second kitchen but only for convenience sake. There was a small basket with some treats along with a packet of coffee and some hot chocolate coffee filters and salt and pepper. The unit had a stacked washer and dryer and a couple packets of detergent supplied with more available at the front desk. We did have to call maintenance to unplug the lint from the dryer vent which is up under the eves but that small job was done by the time we returned to the unit that afternoon. In some reviews some people have been "offended" that there are Canadian Geese on the property. Yes you do have to watch where you step at times but c'mon, the geese were there before the resort was. There is an Activities Center and a Recreation Building neither of which we used except to purchase an on site fishing license. The WiFi was free but slooooow best to use it early in the day.

My wife and I both work in healthcare, I am a RN and my wife is a Radiology tech at a hospital in the Denver Metro area. We were hoping for a nice stay in the mountains to see the changing of the aspen's and to visit my son in Durango, CO. Upon checking into the resort, we were asked if we were checking into a 2 person deluxe condo, and we said yes. We then drove to the condo that we were staying in and that is when thing to a turn for the worse. When they said deluxe, I think they meant "Early 90's nursing home." We were booked into a handicapped accessable room, which unto itself wasn't that bad; however, there were shower chairs that were just like we use at the hospital in the shower and a booster chair for the toliet. The decor was very poor. And as for the amenities, at least at the hospital where I work the TV's are HD. The bed was a double and not a queen. We wanted to make the best of it, but when we went to use the hot tub it was broken. We left a full day a head of time, and the staff didn't even question why we were leaving early or how our stay was. If you are under the age of 80, this isn't the place to stay.

Was a tad wary based off of reviews when it came to the timeshare pitch. When my wife checked in, they gave her some speel about an "update" which we signed up for, but cancelled the next day via phone. They did their best on the phone to have us attend but we got out of it. They never asked us again to go (so that was Great!!)
Pagosa is located in the beautiful San Juan's and our trip was made all the better by the Fall colors.
Resort- We called in advance and asked to stay in a more updated unit. They put us in a 1 bdrm in the Peregrine units. Unit was fairly large for a 1 bdrm. King bed in the master, big bathroom, nice sized kitchen and living room.
We were able to use the Pagosa Rec Center through free passes the Wyndam gave us at check-in. The Rec center was small but had a pool, hot tub, weight room, 2 racquetball courts, and some other workout machines.
The unit itself seemed to be one of 3. Each overall place (of 3) had a hot tub room. Used it almost everyday and no one was ever in the hot tub.
Would definitely go back and in fact, we are planning on it.

Our friends are members of Wyndham and we stayed in a condo with them. The rooms were clean and cozy. The whole area is beautiful with landscapes straight out of magazines. There was great, safe parking for our trailer. People walked their pets. The people were soooo friendly and we had a wonderful time.

Friends had a timeshare week that they were unable to use and offered it to us. We picked Pagosa Springs because it is within moderate driving distance for us. Our limited experience with timeshares has been spotty with nice places and some that were not. We were quite surprised and pleased with Wyndham Pagosa. Our one bedroom condo in the Peregrine section was clean, fully equipped with everything you need, and was well maintained. We had internet service the entire week with no problems. Although I wonder why when we are on vacation that is even a consideration but it is. Staff was quite responsive. Wasps were setting up residence on the front of the building and when we called someone responded to our door in less than ten minutes and took care of those interlopers. We were a bit put off by the sales pitch too but it was not unexpected. The area is beautiful and the National Parks we went to were well worth the drive. We were quite pleased with our stay here. Everyting one would need, restaurants, groceries, etc were nearby.

We thought we'd travel to the 2 Wyndham locations in Pagosa and Durrango during our 6 week skiing trip in the Vail area. We were in a unit that was spacious enough for the 3 extra adults who stayed with us. We were in a 2 bedroom Deluxe lockoff unit that had a shared hot tub out back. There didn't seem to be any other renters around, and sitting in the tub watching the sun set was a bonus. These units had more space than other Wyndham locations, but was obvious it was older than other places. The one complaint was that the water was constantly HOT because of the thermal heat system...including the cold water. They should have warning signs on the water outlets. We skied every day at Wolf Creek, so we didn't explore much else on the grounds, except to purchase our discount lift tickets. The owner update was pleasant and not pushy. Apparently, the day you check in determines the location of your unit. We were happy with our placement.

The accommodations shown on their website showed very contemporary and updated furnishings. We made our reservation over a month prior to our stay and requested an upper unit facing the lake and agreed to accept the two bedroom unit, even though we only needed one bedroom but we were willing to pay more for the accommadtions we desired. We stated that in our online reservation. We booked for three night. We got a confirmation for two nights and another confirmation for one night. I phoned to correct this error an stressed my initial request.

When we arrived, we were given the choice of two very seedy units, neither one even closely resembling what we thought we booked. After speaking to the manager about our unhappiness, they made some changes and accommodated us in a two bedroom unit on the ground floor ... not facing the lake ... but the furnishings were closer to the website photos. The beds and bedding were less than desirable ... but clean. The televisions were old ... but working. We were not aware that the units did not include housekeeping but that worked out OK. More updated beds and bedding ... in the recently renovated unit that we stayed in .. would have made our stay more accepting.
