We are two 60 something married couples who have been meeting for the past thirteen years for a vacation together. The resort was easy to find with a large sign on the highway directing us to Registration. Registration did take about 20 minutes as we arrived right at 4:00 PM along with everybody else. You check-in and then are directed to the Activities desk where the resort activities are explained to you and the area shopping and restaurants are recommended. They do try and get you to attend a sales seminar where a simple but polite "No thanks" sufficed to end that conversation. We were assigned to a unit in the Peregrine section. What we had could best be described as four-plex and we had half of it with two one bedroom units with an interior door between. Both sides had a kitchen, dining area, bathroom, bedroom, and living area.. It worked out well for the four of us. One unit was somewhat larger than the other so except for sleeping, most of time was spent in that unit. The unit(s) was spotlessly clean although a tiny bit worn and slightly dated. The dining area had a table and 6 chairs with a breakfast nook with another table and two chairs. There is a bar between the kitchen and dining area with two stools. On the second day we discovered there was a hot tube in a bump out on the back of the building. We used it several times and had it to ourselves every time. The kitchen is small but contained everything we needed to cook a meal for four. A time or two we "borrowed" a item or two from the second kitchen but only for convenience sake. There was a small basket with some treats along with a packet of coffee and some hot chocolate coffee filters and salt and pepper. The unit had a stacked washer and dryer and a couple packets of detergent supplied with more available at the front desk. We did have to call maintenance to unplug the lint from the dryer vent which is up under the eves but that small job was done by the time we returned to the unit that afternoon. In some reviews some people have been "offended" that there are Canadian Geese on the property. Yes you do have to watch where you step at times but c'mon, the geese were there before the resort was. There is an Activities Center and a Recreation Building neither of which we used except to purchase an on site fishing license. The WiFi was free but slooooow best to use it early in the day.
