This place is right near the hot springs and all the tourist shops, so it naturally draws a crowd. Don't let the crowd fool you. The food is mediocre at best. If you're really starving, it'll do, but don't think that the crowd means the food is good. There are lots of tables, giving the small restaurant a very crowded feel even when it is not packed with people. We went during an "off" time, and it still felt like the place needed to be cleaned as so many other reviewers said. It felt dingy and neglected. On the positive side, though, if you just want a shake or a malt, this place does have good ones, and the sizes of the cups mean those of us watching our calories can still imbibe without feeling guilty.
