We enjoyed our stay at Twin Peaks Lodge.. The rooms were roomy, clean and the bed was very comfortable... The full breakfast buffet was the great and was free and Guido and Donna do a great job cooking/helping. We will definitly stay here again upon returning to Ouray...

This is an older property, but it has a certain character that we really enjoyed. Fabulous breakfast that would be worth $25/couple at a restaurant. Guido and Donna are wonderful hosts at the restaurant, cooking omelettes made to order and sharing southern charm (they are from Nashville). GREAT time of year to visit - the last week or two of September is when the colors are at their best, and the temperatures are still very comfortable. Spend a half day at Telluride riding gondolas for free and hiking - but stay in Ouray, unless you need "upper scale".

We stayed at this hotel in August when we were on our motorcycle trip. We were pleasantly surprised by the nice little perks they had displayed for us in our rooms. The huge breakfast buffet they had prepared for us by the owners Guido & Donna the next morning was fabulous! They were very friendly, the rooms were very clean, we would stay here again!

The room was clean and comfortable but the service was slow. There are currently 2 charges, both incorrect pending on the credit card for the room (waiting to see if they fall off and correct appears.) The indoor hot tub was down for maintenance, which was a disappointment as the weather had turned cold. The Mountain View upgrade is not worth the money in my opinion as it is outside, not really from a window.

We are an English family who stayed for 4 nights at the end of August. We thought this hotel was great - fantastic location, nice pool and outdoor hot-tub, and excellent breakfasts - especially the omelettes, prepared to order by Guido and Donna, who are welcoming and friendly. Our kids enjoyed the free popcorn and hot chocolate in reception. We hope to return!

I wanted to take the bed in this room home. It was amazing and I slept so well. They said they had pretty new mattresses. Room was cute and I'd say with the two beds we had access to at least 20 pillows - it was funny. Very clean, professional staff. Chef and his wife were fun and told great stories. He would cook you an omelet with the nice breakfast with bacon. sausages, biscuits & gravy, fresh fruit, yogurt, etc. Love the pool - around 95 degrees and the thermal hot tub was around 97 or 98. Fun to soak at night and visit with other guests. A very nice place to stay.

Room Tip: To choose a good room I always go to Trip Advisor. I couldn't imagine staying any where with ch...

Lovely hotel with a gorgeous hot springs-warmed pool which is surrounded by beautiful flower gardens and looking up to the mountains around this charming old town. Hotel room comfortable, albeit fairly standard offering, but the breakfast was absolutely fabulous, including a lovely lady who will make you an omelette however you want it. Check it out....
