If you get a chance make sure you do Imogene with Don. He does a great job, took pics of my family and gave my daughter the coat of his back. No better service than that. Great trip, felt safe the entire time and he had great stories and jokes.

We have been coming to Ouray for 20 years and Switzerland of America jeep tours are the best. Whether you are new to the area and looking for a scenic, milder Jeep ride or you have been coming for years and want to take a more challenging trail and leave the driving to the experts, they are the best choice, hands down. You can also rent your own Jeep from them and explore on your own. Many of the great hiking trails require a 4 wheel drive to access the trail head, so renting one from them is also a good option. Don't miss a good Jeep tour when you visit the area - it is the only way to really see and appreciate scenery you can't get to just passing through town.

We just got back from a fantastic vacation in Ouray, CO. We spent a day in the High Country exploring old gold and silver camps, viewing wild flowers, and enjoying the peaks and scenery of the San Juans. We rented our jeeps from "Switzerland of America". This is a family operation that resides and owns this business in Ouray. They know the area and give you real guidance and advice on where to go, or not go to see the tops of the Rockies. The other companies are not owned by locals, and don't have the real insight into the history and condition of the mountains you are ascending. We rented new machines, that were in top condition. That made this "flatland" driver more comfortable, as we felt safe during our "ups and downs" of the adventure. "Switzerland of America" got us to the places we wouldn't have ever seen without their assistance. The jeep trip was a memory of a lifetime. Thanks for your friendly service!

The Road Warriors took the Yankee Boy Basin tour. Bob had all the kids and we had Chad. They were great guides! The flowers were blooming, we took beautiful pictures by the waterfall and we drank the best water ever! Really!

We took the tour with our extended family to Imogene Pass. Don was our tour guide and he was awesome!! The views we saw were amazing! We went in July when the wildflowers were in bloom and there were still patches of snow at the top of the mountain - enough to have a snowball fight! Highly recommend this company. They are professional and very personable!
