We recently had lunch at the Grill. Our waitress was Tatem. Very good service and very friendly. She made us feel completely at home. Our lunch was delicious. We liked the fact that we could bring our dog on the lower patio. Right away Tatem brought a large bowl of water for our dog. WOW! What attention he received. We will visit this restaurant again!

Our wedding night dinner was on the romantic patio. Aspens, fountain and private dining area- not filled with loads of people.
It was our most memorable meal in Ouray. Beautifully done.

If you are in Ouray then you are not the typical traveller to begin with. But the Beaumont Grill will please your tastes no matter what type traveller you are. If you have been on an exhausting hike (or have just been wandering the streets of this unique town) the patio of the Beaumont is the perfect place for a relaxing and delicious lunch. Cool breezes. A view of one side of the box canyon the town sits in. One of the best small book stores anywhere is attached to them (the Buckskin). The Beaumont Gourmet Burger is among the best on the planet but the salads and home made soup of the day are also to die for. At supper time the small, intimate and sophisticated dining room are a great place for an evening meal. Service is uniformly great but our favorite servers and Heather and Tatem. We can't wait to return. Next time I am having the Gourmet Burger and sweet potato fries. Oh, by the way, if you enjoy superb wines, ask for the special wine list. They are also a Wine Spectator Wine List Award Winner (but you are looking at $$$ to $$$$ in this world class cellar). And don't forget to take a stroll through the lobby of the truly historic Beaumont Hotel while you are there.

This was a great stop for us, because they had a nice array. The Wedge salad was awesome!! The Fried Brie, spectacular.
I'd stay away from the escargot. Was not prepared the traditional style and lacked seasoning.
