We called in after some sight seeing and hiking. The beers are really great ( especially the Blonde), the Nachos was brilliant and the sandwiches and burgers very tasty. They even make their own chips (crisps) which taste great. We sat on the Bosun type chairs at the Bar - a mistake. They are a novelty only and the cables just get in the way - sit at a table.

Ate at the Ouray Brewery for dinner, think it was the day before 4th of July. Very festive atmosphere. The service was good (and friendly), the food was good, but the reason to go here is for the great rooftop view of the valley and the town and the beer. Specifically I would recommend their red ale, I tried another one of their brews (can't remember what kind or name, I think it was a wheat ale) and really dislike it but the red ale was absolutely fantastic. It was crisp, light and drinkable enough for summer, but had all the ale elements you'd expect (body and finish). If you are in Ouray for whatever reason and have to eat a meal this is 1 of 2 absolute MUST stops!

Got a terrific bbq brisket sandwich. It's enough for 2 people. The bartender was very attentive and helpful.

They offered different types of beer we were not familiar with. The beer we tried was really good and became our "best friend" that day. The price was reasonable too.

Good food & beer, fun place. There's a nice deck on the roof to enjoy excellent burgers and locally brewed beers; can't beat the view. In less comfortable weather, you can sit in the swings at the downstairs bar or get a table. Service can be a little slow in the busy season, so bring a friend or make one while you're there.
