Ate here while in Ouray for a night. The food was really good, but slightly pricey. I would definitley come back. Very neat building and lots of history there!

Thank Will B

The history of the building and bar is interesting and creates an nice atmosphere. Our innkeeper recommended it for dinner. The first time we went we had great service beginning to end. Our meal was delicious. We had pasta and a SW burger. The sweet potato fries were really great. But, a few days later we went for dinner again... we were brought waters and menus and then ignored. There was a bartender just going about his business doing bar stuff and seemed bewildered why after waiting and waiting we eventually just walked out. I don't know, I might give it another try based on our first experience.

One of the suggested places by our innkeepers. We were greeted warmly and seated quickly and from that point the service went downhill. There was one gentleman who was tending bar, bussing tables, taking orders, refilling drinks, or more correctly put, trying to do all these things; none in a timely or successful manner. Our salads came before our iced teas were served. The food was quite good: both the spaghetti with marinara and chicken alfredo were delicious. Could have done with a little more bread. The bill was added wrong, but corrected. If they can get the service to match the food quality, this will be an ever better place.

We took a seat on the patio & 10min later the server ran by saying he would be right with us. Another 5 had him at the table and we gave our full order. For Drinks we ordered iced tea, water and a ginger Ale. my side soup arrive, by server, before our drinks. He said he had to go check on them(like we ordered alcoholic drinks) He came back with drinks and the ginger ale was watered down due to sitting somewhere and all ice melting. The food came in decent time but was nothing special to speak about. I think this server was the only one on patio and by watching, he NEEDED help. He was very confused and not too good at consolidating. I saw many tables either leave or get up and ask for service as they had been sitting awhile w/o recognition. Only good thing was there was nice live music going on.
