I took my husband here as a complete surprise - we love small mountain towns, and he'd never even heard of it - except that CW McCall lives there. So I packed him into a car, and we drove to this undisclosed location - and he LOVED it. Slam dunk!
This hotel was gorgeous - the most beautiful in Ouray, CO, hands down! Upon arrival, the desk attendant was pleasant, and actually walked with us up to our room. She gave a quick tour, and offered her assistance should we need anything. The accommodations were beautiful, and extremely luxurious & comfortable.
We ate dinner in the grand ballroom, and spent half as much as we have been known to - and ate like kings! I'm serious - we've had some really terrible food that cost twice as much, but our compliments go out to the chef! The food was spectacular, and I wished I could eat more!
The complementary breakfast was fantastic, and the only thing I would add, is some kind of protein - there were hard boiled eggs, and everything else was more carb-rich. There were ample choices, though, and the service was great.
We walked around and took photographs of the really cool antiques & styles all over the hotel. We wandered into the book store downstairs, and made some purchases - they have both local books as well as current best-sellers etc. The town had a lot to offer, and we'll definitely be back! Overall, though, the hotel really made the trip!

You should stay at the Beaumont Hotel if you heading to Ouray or will be anywhere near the area. The facilities are first rate and the food was great. The rooms are very comfortable and well-appointed. My wife enjoyed a massage in the spa. The service was exceptional. I had to stop the young lady working reception from going out in a snowstorm to bring our luggage in. This is one of the most unique places we have stayed.

Stayed at the Beaumont for a wonderful 5 days. Chad and Jennifer treat you like family and they truly have a passion for the Beaumont. Was lucky enough to stay in the Roosevelt Suite, luxury was great. Wonderful comfortable bed, beautiful furnishings and decorated with great attention to detail. Room was equipped with a person Keurig and complimentary K-Cups each day. Room overlooked the courtyard, nice and quiet. Staff was friendly and always willing to spend time and chat. Breakfast in the morning was nice, fresh fruit, pastry, breads, yogurt, hard boil eggs and of course tea and great coffee. If you have never stayed at The Beaumont; you are missing a wonderful experience. I have stayed 5 different times and will definitely be staying there again.

Room Tip: If you go the The Beaumont's website you can view the rooms. I also always call and book directl...

What a wonderful Hotel. Gorgeous renovation. Luxury bedding, spacious room and a tub you actually could take a bath in. Our stay was relaxing and the spa massages were excellent. I had doubts during the massage but the results were excellent, my hip pain and shoulder issues were gone. The town is beautiful with lots to do. My husband and I were there for our anniversary and though we did not know the hotel doesn't allow children, we will definitely be back for the peace and quiet this afforded.

We weren't planning to stay in Ouray, but a snowstorm caused us to be happily diverted from our original destination. I'm so glad we had the opportunity to stay at the Beaumont Hotel- the exquisite attention to detail of the restoration shown throughout the building, and I loved learning all about the history of the hotel from Elizabeth and Chad. The restoration of the Beaumont was a labor of love, and we guests are the lucky recipients. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Stayed 2 nights as we were touring SW Colorado....this place exceeded our every expectation! We stayed in room 204, The Dove and it was awesome! Classic Victorian with all the modern touches.....most importantly the 4 poster bed was super comfortable. The owners are on site and gave us a tour of some of the premium rooms and suites on the 3rd floor.....wow! The Dragonfly was my favorite. The lobby is beautiful and the location is right in the middle of town convenient to everything but yet very quiet. The breakfast is a nice continental in the Beaumont Grill. This is the only place to stay in Ouray as far as we're concerned...Highly recommended.

The Beaumont has been our destination to spend our anniversary each year for four years now. Proprietors Chad and Jen are constantly improving the amenities at this superb historic hotel. The staff is always courteous and attentive to assure that our stay is perfect. The experience of enjoying dinner in the Grand Ball Room was enjoyed by us for the first time this year. The food was exquisite and portioned generously. Lunch or dinner in the Beaumont Grill is always delicious in a more relaxed atmosphere. It is a treat to have two dining choices without having to leave the beautiful hotel. If you can pull yourself away from the hotel there are many spectacular views to be experienced within a short distance. We just left there today and are already looking forward to going back next year.
