This is a FAMILY type joint. Seriously, kids might be running through the restaurant kicking soccer balls around and yelling. It happens. But it's really cozy, there are a number of booths, and the food is good.
It's a Nepalese family who've owned this restaurant FOREVER. So the "Indian" food has a decidedly Nepalese twist. Some may find it less sophisticated, but I like it. Some dishes are strictly Nepalese. My favorite is the momo platter, which consists of delightful vegetable dumplings served with a spicy tomato dipping sauce.
The saag paneer is great. It's served more "country style" than most, and the spice is perfect. The cheese naan is very good comfort food after a hike.
The only things I haven't enjoyed were the buffet (lacking spice), the korma (too sweet), and the gulab jamun dessert (just off-tasting). Everything else is great, and they have good beer on tap.
