When we arrived in Boulder we journey'ed to Nederland where we talked to the locals and trie to figure out what we were going to do. Every single person we talked to said that we had to at least stop by and check out this attraction.

Thank goodness we did because it was amazing to hear the history of this carousel and see all of the pictures hanging on the wall. It only cost $1 per person per ride.

Each animal of the ride is hand carved and painted. An amazing feat of craftsmanship and skill. It even survived a fire in the early 1900's.

Definitely a must see whether you are young or old. You will definitely not forget it.

I decided to check out the carousel and was very happy I did. The ride only cost $1 and brought back childhood memories. The man running the ride was quite entertaining. There is a small gift shop and the prices were reasonable.

Love the carousel. Positive uplifting story of healing and joy from sadness. A happy thing! Like the cards of the figures for sale in the gift shop.

Fun with the kids. Cheap at $1 a ride. This Carousel has an interesting story and is a real antique.

The Carousel of Happiness is a delight for all ages. A beautiful and inspiring story behind its creation. A must if you have small kids or grandkids. Lot’s of hand-carved animals to ride on a genuine old-time restored carousel. Rides are $1 each and you’ll want to ride more than once. Definitely worth a trip to Nederland and The Ned is a pretty cool place to explore/hang out after a good time at the Carousel of Happiness. This place will leave a smile on your face and a song in your heart. Unique and VERY SPECIAL.

It was well worth stopping in to take a look at the carousel of happiness. Very beautiful hand carved figures on the carousel. And it is very, very affordable! If you are walking by, stop in. It is worth seeing.

The story of this place is wonderful and the local visitors center referred us. The price per ride is cheap! Very Cheap! Young kids will love the ride and the puppet theatre. However it is a 10-30 minutes visit. My 11 year old was bored quickly. Vets will love the place for the story alone. A great cause to support.

This amazing carousel with its incredible array of hand-carved figures must been seen to be believed! The story behind this lovingly detailed carousel is no less incredible than the carousel itself. Their motto "Don't delay joy" says it all. If you can ride this carousel without a smile on your face, well, you probably don't have a pulse, either :)

A must stop. As a group of 60 year olds traveling and finding this gem, we left the ride smiling for miles. The people running the ride are delightful and told us the history of the ride. So many beautifully carved animals to choose from. Childhood revisited on this day.
