Our family, with guests, visited Mt Princeton for 2 days and enjoyed it very much. This was our first time since many of the updated renovations. We stayed in a cabin within walking distance of the pools. We were delayed 2 hours check-in because the cabin was not ready. However, because of the delay we were given a discount on the price when we checked out. When checking in, information was not given unless specific questions were asked. But, since we've visited Mt. Princeton many times since 1991, we only had a few questions to be answered. The restaurant was good, but we waited quite a long time for the food. Overall we had a wonderful, relaxing stay. I would recommend Mt Princeton to everyone.

Room Tip: The cabins are roomy and comfortable.

The place is really nice, the rooms are really spacious. The restaurant staff is very friendly. But the team at the reception does not really care about the guests, feels like just being a room number to them: no friendly welcome, no smile, no information about the site unless you do not ask, no friendly word when checking out! Please exchange the complete reception-Team!

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for the compliments on our facility. I am sorry that your experience with our front desk staff was under-whelming. We train for exceptional customer service and this experience is not something that occurs regularly. We have shared your comments with staff and they are re-prioritizing their focus on hospitality.

We greatly appreciate your visit and hope that you will return to Mt. Princeton and allow us to exceed your expectations.

Best Wishes,

Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort Management

My wife and I decided to head back up to Mt. Princeton Hot Springs for a dinner and a relaxing soak. We got married at the resort in 2009 and have been coming back ever since. We made reservations for 7:30pm and we were seated immediately when we arrived. The wait staff was very busy with a full restaurant but we were greeted and got our drinks in no time. We ordered appetizers and soup (best french onion soup I have ever had). Very relaxing time to catch up with great food and drink. Our entrees arrives and the food was outstanding! The prime rib was perfect and so tender. The quality of food and service was beyond what you could expect in a small mountain resort. After a wonderful meal we headed out for a relaxing soak. The resort has a "spa" side that is new and its adults only. Very nice and quiet with the best views on earth in my opinion. Secluded hot pools really put everything together nicely. We left feeling like jello. The spa building is absolutely beautiful with top notch amenities you would find in Las Vegas or Malibu.

It is true that there is barely any cell service at the resort and wired phones are scarce. What a perfect opportunity to really get away and relax!!!!

If you are looking for close cities and 5 star shopping this is not your place. If you are looking for a real rocky mountain getaway at a perfect location at the base of Mt. Princeton and the chalk cliffs this is for you.

Room Tip: Any cliff side room or cabin is GREAT!!!

We had a wonderful time, the kids loved the water, we enjoyed the fresh air and scenery, we will make sire to go back as often as possible, i also believe the water has some youth full properties because for days afterwards my skin was softer, smoother and firmer . We will continue makeing reservations to go up and enjoy our families new escape.

My family of 8 spent two nights at the resort in one of their large cabins. The cabin was big enough that everyone had a bed and we weren't on top of each other. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. Although the cabins are set off the main road a little ways they are still within walking distance to the main resort area and all activities. We went to the pool, hot springs/river and horseback riding. I can honestly say we enjoyed everything we did. Although we did have phone reception, unlike others we had heard, we turned our phones off. This is a place to go if you are looking to slow down and unwind. Gill was wonderful with information on activities in the area. While my children were off enjoying the resort I sat in a rocking chair on the front porch of our cabin reading and listening to the river flow by. I would highly recommend if you are looking to unplug from the hustle and bustle for awhile.
