We walked around Morrison looking for somewhere to eat, and after passing lots and lots of places that serve the same repetitive menu in a somewhat mediocre environment (you know the kind that has a smell of grease or stale food when you walk in the door) we found Flights... it has a lovely, unique decor with seats indoors and out, is lovely and clean with a relaxed vibe. The chap working was super friendly and made us feel most at home.

We had one of the flat breads and a salmon salad, both were delicious, and shared the 'chocolate bomb as dessert. We weren't drinking so can't comment on the wine, but the selection was vast and I liked the idea of the sampler flights.

The chap did say that if the sun had been shining we would not have been able to find a seat... I believe it. As it was it was bucketing with rain outside, and we were only one of four tables and it was lovely and cosy inside...given the quiet custom, the service was great.

So all in all, Flights was exactly what we were looking for and topped off our day trip nicely. Highly recommend.

Although a little pricey, ordered a wine flight (supposed to be full glasses) so we decided to share. It was ok - each glass was less than 1/2 full. Extra olives were $6.00 which was a little surprising. We were on a mni vacation, so it was expected. Nice staff.

My husband and I happened upon flights wine bar after receiving a gift card here. It was such an incredible find! We had the wine and cheese plate pairing and it was excellent! My husband had the standard red wine flight on the menu and I had the customized red flight. Our server was excellent and recommended beautiful wines based on my likes. He was very attentive and provided some great information about the wines, cheese, etc. The cheeses all paired beautifully with our chosen flights! What an amazing find! Definitely worth checking out!

I flew to Denver for a few days to visit a friend and on our way to Red Rocks we drove past Flights and decided to come back once our day was over, so we could enjoy a glass of wine. The quaint little patio seating area next to the mountain caught our attention but I didn't think much of it until we actually arrived. The food was yummy, the atmosphere was perfect, the wine selection was good and the service was great. It is locally owned and we were able to chat with the owner and learn more about the place, she was very sweet and welcoming, and as the temperature dropped she brought us all blankets (there were 7 of us). We had the option to move inside the house and sit by the fire place but we had such a beautiful view outside and we were enjoying watching the deer play on the mountain that we decided to just deal with the cold. It was worth every minute if it, and I would highly recommend this charming, truly special place!
