This museum is packed with interesting things from baby dionsaur foot prints and dino bones to live snakes! Facinating place with fab guides on hand, well worth a visit to learn more about the area past and present. The whole area is surrounded by interesting things to see and places to visit. The pretty town of Morrison is close as it the Red Rocks and dino remains just everywhere!

My kids want to see the real dinosaurus, and we find this place. They love it, have experience being an archeologists. They can see what they only read in the book before, and touch it. T-rex and Stegosaurus. On the yard they can find different rock and fossils. Nice place, and it's a must if you want to learn historical.

Nice but small museum with working archeologists on site. Baby dinosaur tracks were interesting, as well as the details about what dinosaurs had been found in the Red Rocks area west of Denver.

Did you know the first discovered Stegosaurus was found in Morrison, CO? I didnt until I visited this cute little museum. It is small but very informative with lots of great fossils and a few activities for kids. And it is just a short drive to Dinosaur Ridge.

It isn't the biggest museum, but anyone who is a dinosaur buff or paleontologist will love it. Given the historical significance of the area (look up the Morrison formation) it is a must.
