“Amazing Place!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2014 via mobile

I was able to visit the Red Rocks Amphitheater on a beautiful day in Colorado! The structure of the place is unbelievable. I hope to see a concert there one day! If your visiting the Denver area, you have to visit this place!

“Lots to the park besides the amphitheater”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 1, 2014

The amphitheater --carved out of natural red stone formations by a CCC crew in the 1930s -- is one of America's iconic concert locations, but worth coming to even when no one is playing. Stand at the top and take in the view, or get on stage and look up into the stands and imagine what a rock star feels like.

I always bring out of town guests here. Besides the interesting and free museum, and besides the fun and kitschy frontier style trading post, it a great place for a long or short hike, run, or bike ride (road or mountain).

“Best place ever to watch a concert!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 30, 2013

My wife and I saw Steve Martin, Guthrie and Emmy Lou there and it was amazing! Just sitting there listening to nothing and looking at the view would be worth something. If you go, park on the road above the closest parking lot for a easy getaway. You could also get there early enough to grab one of the free great seats on the corners. Bring your hiking shoes, it is a nice little walk! It is also a great place just to go hike around if you have a few hours to spend.

“Scenic Natural Wonder for Hiking AND Music Near Denver”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 17, 2013

Spectacular natural amphitheatre outside Denver. Relatively easy hiking trails open to the public (when there are no concerts going on) with dramatic views of the red rock formations and the city of Denver in the distance. Put it on your must see list of sites when you are in town.
