This place is always packed. I drive by the parking lot every day and it is always full. As the largest food establishment in downtown Monument it attracts quite a crowd for lunch and dinner. The Margaritas are excellent (particularly the Prickly Pear.) The food is good - not anything to write home about or drive out of your way for - but perfectly acceptable for a night you don't want to cook or if you are passing through town. The atmosphere is great. The service is hit or miss depending on who you get - but they are always friendly, just not always speedy.

My favorite Margaritas! A great bar while still being a family friendly environment. The best chicken faijtas.

I stopped here for brunch over the labor day weekend, and found it to be a very well-run, friendly and tasty restaurant. The sign on the highway drew me in - I was looking for something that was not just another chain. The suprise was how nicely setup the place is, with a great patio and somewhat funky feel. Service was quick and helpful and the huevos rancheros were perfect for what I was looking for. I'll return if I'm in the area in the future.

For a small town it was a hit out of the park! Had lunch or dinner here 5 days in a row.
5* for the margaritas !
5* for the staff ! (especially Travis)
5* for the decor! (especially the outdoor fire-pit)
5* for the food. It is truly "Southern New Mexico" style. Not your run of the mill mexican/swestern stuff! BUT, they will make it as spicy as you wish. So other reviewers quit your complaining and just ask for more heat!

We have been going to La Casa Fiesta since they opened and have never had a bad experience. The food is always good and the service equal to any. Would recommend La Casa Fiesta to anyone with no hesitation.
