Quiet, clean, comfortable...no complaints! Comfortable beds....great breakfast with many hot items...sausage, omelet maker, waffles, etc. Very friendly helpful staff...small outdoor pool (didnt use it). Patio and 2 chairs per room. We are use to budget motels and this is a step up for the same price.

At first glance driving in you might be put off - So much asphalt. But check into your room (second floor backing up to the "park" and you are in for a treat. The balcony looks out over a small park where folks run their dogs and the wind blows through the cottonwoods. It's quiet, relaxing and spacious. Breakfast is included and offers the usual fare of waffles, cereal, fruit, juices, etc. This is a perfect place to stay on the eastern edge of town. You can reach Black Canyon of the Gunnison in minutes traveling east or a variety of restaurants, and big box stores traveling west. If you do venture into town - check out Great Harvest Bread Company. We are big fans. The breads and scones are tasty. Our loaf lasted for a week without going stale or molding.
The hotel has a nice pool, hot tub, and fitness center. This is definitely a gem of a find. Thanks to folks on Tripadvisors for their recommendations.

The restaurant that had been on the premises is deserted, which makes a desolate impression. But the motel is OK. Spacious and clean rooms, good beds. Even the included breakfast was a positive surprise.

Dear CharleyNetherlands,

Thank you for your comments about your stay. We are truly glad you enjoyed your room and your visit. We Consider dedicated staff members, like those in our housekeeping department, our most valuable asset. We have worked hard on our breakfast to make it an added bonus. The restaurant next door to us, recently sold and is due to open soon. We are excited to see what happens with it - and hope that it will be something that our guests can enjoy. We hope to see you again in the future.

Sincerely,
S. Flynn

Just can't say enough about the cleanliness, friendliness and amenities of this property!
We are always greeted warmly, professionally and usually with fresh-baked cookies in the lobby. : )
The beds are extrordinarily comfortable pillow-top type (I think we looked once and they are Simmons) There are five or six fluffed pillows and very soft linens.
I have to write this because I am so impressed, but if everyone starts booking there, we are going to have to start planning our weekends further out. LOL
Thanks again for a wonderful weekend!

I would highly reccommend this hotel. Having not had the opportunity to use hotels in many years, I was not sure what to expect anymore. I read through some reviews and decided to try Red Arrow, because it seemed to fit what we were looking for, which was a place to stay after flying in and then moving on. It was a very pleasant surprise. The hotel room was pleasant and clean. The couch had a chunk out of it, but that was the only negative. The bathroom was not brand new, but was extremely clean. The pool outside was very nice. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows. The next morning we ate the supplied breakfast, which was delicious. There were a variety of items to choose from and plenty of food. The girl who worked there was polite and helpful. She must have helped everyone make an omlette. The best part about this hotel was the friendly and helpful staff. I would highly recommend this hotel. I made my reservation by phone and used a AAA discount, and were very happy.
