We walked in about 12:45 for lunch after being in the 10:30 morning tour of the Stift. We entered the first room and chose a table. The tables were heavy wooden and the chairs were heavy as well--something you might expect if entering a Taverne. The is a larger dining room but it has white upholstered seating. I asked for a large beer and my wife mineral water. Main course for me was schweinemedallions and spätzle, my wife chose rindgoulasch mit semmelknodel. We were pleased with the presentation as well as the quality of food. We enjoyed an espresso at completion of the meal.
