“The perfect place to stay...”
Reviewed March 27, 2014

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Minturn this past January to celebrate our anniversary. It was both a romantic and luxurious experience. We now recommend Hotel Minturn to all of our friends--we can't wait to go back!

Room Tip: It is totally worth the extra expense to stay on the second floor-- such a nice view!

Stayed here for ski weekend. Really nice rooms. Loved the hip decor and the bed was really comfy. Great coffee maker and it was nice to have a fridge. Just one block to Main Street and restaurants. We would definitely come back.

The Hotel Minturn is a rustic, yet modern gem in a quaint little town in between Vail and Avon. It's a small hotel with only four rooms, which we loved. It looses the corporate/touristy hotel-feel that so many in that area have. If you feel up to it, you can ride or ski the minturn mile from Vail right to the hotel. It's fantastic all around!

Hotel Minturn is cozy, quiet, modern and we'll be back again! Less than a 5 minute drive from the ski area, it was the perfect fit for our ski trip to Vail.

We loved:
- super comfy king size bed
- walking distance to Magustos - a local establishment with great bar food.
- bagels & kuerig coffee
- brand new accommodations, loved the shower!
- great views of mountains
- half the price of similar accommodations in Vail or Beaver Creek.
- easy access via key code

Can't say enough good things!

If you are planning a trip to the Vail or Beaver Creek area, there are 4 things that are a must! Breakfast at the Turntable, margaritas at the Minturn Saloon, skiing the Minturn Mile, and most of all a great nights stay at the Hotel Minturn. This is the coolest "boutique hotel". I go once on a hard core ski trip with my buds, and then take the family back 2 weeks later and it serves both great. Clean rooms, cool furnishings, and friendly staff. Absolute BEST deal in the vally!

We stayed for one night just to get away (from Denver) and see the changing Aspen leaves. Bec was incredibly nice and accommodating. The room was warm, clean and had everything we needed (wine glasses, coffee maker and good lighting). The bed was super comfy, too! If you're looking for a spa, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy the small mountain town, Hotel Minturn is where it's at!

We stayed at Hotel Minturn for two nights for the Leadville 100 Mountain Bike race. My in-laws came up with us and stayed in the room on the ground level. The rooms were large, beautiful and CLEAN! The bedding was amazing. The fridge and microwave were really handy. The town was adorable!! We ate dinner at the Saloon (the quail was really, really good) and at Sticky Fingers for Breakfast the next morning.

The hotel is self contained, with codes for all the doors so there is no front desk and no "services" per se, which was fine with us.

We loved our stay and are planning our next visit soon!!
