We were in Canon City on July 4th and had planned on staying overnight at Cripple Creek. Once there, we found all the rooms there were booked. We traveled on to Manitou Springs arriving there just as the fireworks started. The Inn had a vacancy sign so we stopped there. We got a more than reasonable priced room. The room had a second bedroom which was a huge plus as my husband has sleep apnea and snores horribly. We ended up staying there three nights. The hotel was within walking distance to all the little shops and the town. Another plus, the hotel had two cats.
We enjoyed our stay in Manitou and we were well rested because of the hotel room layout. If we are ever in Manitou Springs again, we will most definately stay at the Pike Peaks Inn.More
