“Great Unusual Fare”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

Having eaten dinner at the Craftwood Inn over 20 times, I can clearly state that we have been pleased and impressed every time. They specialize in wild game meat (Elk, Ostrich, Boar, Pheasant, etc) and their menu changes seasonally. They have a great bar and wine selection. The room is beautiful and service is excellent.

“Very Unique Restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 31, 2013

This was a very unique restaurant within walking distance of our B&B just down a rustic path. It was so nice not to have to drive to a restaurant. There is also outside seating in a beautiful setting.

We were seated promptly and had a very nice table and an excellent waiter – Levi. He was very gracious, friendly, and efficient.

This restaurant’s specialty is Colorado Cuisine and they serve big game: Elk, Bison, Ostrich, Kangaroo, Deer, Boar. Very unique! My husband had the South Texas Wild Boar, but I stuck with the tame Angus Beef Tenderloin. Both were excellent and prepared perfectly. We also had bowls of Artichoke Bleu Cheese Bisque w/Port Syrup and Popcorn. The popcorn did not enhance the soup which was absolutely devine. We also had a bottle of A to Z Pinot and Grahams 6 Grape Port. This was a delightful meal with great ambience and service. We highly recommend it.

This is an interesting restaurant - featuring wild game from kangaroo to ostrich - a must experience if you are in Manitou Springs.

This place was awesome! I had the elk prepared perfect! Robby our server was spot on the room had a warm feel to it the tie I had on was a bit loud for the laid back quiet environment but I did persevere.

“WONDERFUL GAME DINNER”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 24, 2013

Enjoyed an awesome evening at the Craftwood Inn with a friend. The Red Deer entrée was well portioned, prepared just right and the server that evening was very attentive to every need. The surroundings were outstanding as was the view, despite wild fires burning not far away. Would highly recommend this to business as well as vacation travelers to Manitou Springs.
