“Yes, eat there!”

What a great restaurant. Delicious and inventive vegetarian, fish and chicken dishes. We ate there twice in two days. Nicknamed one of the dishes "a circus for your tongue" and another "the first meal on earth". Very reasonably priced. I think I'll have to drive all the way back to Colorado Springs to have another meal there soon!

“AWESOME!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2009

Some of the best food we have ever eaten. Everything was extremly fresh, and the flavors were unbelievable. The service was good and the food was not overpriced. We ate there 3 times during our vacation. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

“wish it was nearer”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 4, 2009

Although an avid tripadvisor devotee, did not check out Adams on the site but fell upon it by accident, as a vegetarian there was lots of choice, everything cooked fresh and some meat dishes for my hubbie, ate there on one day for lunch, then the next then the next , then had to come back to the uk - also do dinner menus but we were not staying at manitou, lovely staff food and atmosphere, brought some of the gorgeous tea back , smells lovely - not brewed yet- only back today , why is there not an Adams in Stockport?

“you will love Adam's Mountain Cafe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 29, 2009

A recent trip to Adam's Mountain cafe left our entire family feeling nourished and revived. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared. My children loved their meals, and as a parent I was relieved not to see dumbed down food for kids. My meal was an amazing combination of perfectly seared tofu, udon noodles, vegetables, and a crunchy peanut sauce. Mild flavors contrasted with vivid ones and crunch with soft chewiness and it was artfully presented. With sun streaming in through large windows, French music playing in the background, and the relaxed yet elegant decor, we felt perfectly happy.

“Clean, healthy, delicious, fantastic food. Incredible dining experience.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2009

We were in town for 3 days and ate here 3 times. No kidding. The dinners were incredible we had a baked sole with chestnuts and goat cheese that might be the best piece of fish I've ever eaten. This restaurant is sort of a classy natural food joint with the smell of cinnamon and spice, lots of plants, natural light and heavy antique tables and chairs. The servers are clean-cut hippies (no patchouli or dreads) and they were all excellent, attentive and clearly happy to be a part of a very fine place to work. Breakfast was great - get something you can put honey on or in because their honey is delicious. They have a decent wine selection and great microbrews. Make reservations on weekends or during the summer or you will have to wait. They are a member of Slow Food, an organization supporting good, clean, fair and slow food - so sit back sip your wine, talk to your companions and wait for some great food.
