Although the restaurant is small, the taste and the service created a great memory for our family! We delighted in the falafels, the chicken kabob, and the baklava. The staff even put together a gluten-free dish for my wife. We left with the wonderful sage tea which warmed a cool, rainy afternoon. Definitely recommended!

Before the screen door had even closed, we were welcomed with a very sincere smile, and the service continued through ordering, food delivery and dessert. The food variety is excellent, well priced and delicious, and the staff are incredibly upbeat and happy to serve......what a treat.

I asked for directions to the washroom, and was shown the way, and the waiter even opened the door and turned on the light.....that is a first in 50+ years of travelling the world.

We have eaten falafels in many countries. Theirs was one do the very best. The waiter was extremely personable and the restaurant was casual and comfortable.

What a little gem right in the heart of Manitou. Not impressive from the outside, or inside for that matter, so probably gets by-passed by the hordes on the main street for the more slick places in the touristy town.

What a shame, because Sahara has some of the best, simple Med food I have ever had. My lamb gyro was to die for, my only wish was that it would have been bigger, and the side of falafel was amazing. My wife's veg plate was equally delicious, and she absolutely loved the sage tea recommended by our super waitress. We ended with yummy ice-cream shakes. One of the simplest and tastiest meals of our entire 7-week trip to Colorado and Texas.

This is a great place for casual dinning. Definitely try the ice cream, it was delicious. We had the lamb pita sandwich and the serving of lamb was very generous. There are a lot of good choices on the menu and they also serve a variety of coffee drinks.
