“An all around delightful dining experience.”
Reviewed March 11, 2012

A delightful dining experience. The food, service and ambiance are exceptional. The dining room is elegan, comfortable and warm.

On Sunday evening we tried their "Table for Two". A great deal with two filet mignons, two salads and two creme brulee assorrtments, plus a veggie, potato and bread are included. Outstanding wine list.

The breakfast buffet in the mornings is hardy and well prepared. The perfect way to start the day. Their coffe is locally made and delicious.

An outstanding dining treat for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Highly recommend.

“OK but not as good as expected”
Reviewed March 4, 2012

Have had several enjoyable meals in the summer on the veranda and decided to try the dining room for a birthday dinner. Food was good but not exceptional, for either appetizer or entree. Seemed like there was always just one thing off about the food. Had the stuffed pork loin and while pork must be well done, it was also very tough and required effort to cut through. Chicken dish has too many diced tomatoes (either from a can or from tomatoes not ripe enough) which detracted from the overall flavoring. Scallop appetizer had a strange sweetish taste. Ahi tuna appetizer consisted of smallish pieces of tuna served on rice rolls that were nice and crispy but too much rice. Quaint dining room, very quiet and formal. Overall, a good dinner but not a great dinner in any respect. Much happier in the summertime, sitting on the veranda and watching the world go by with a glass of wine and a nice salad.

“Best place in Colorado to eat”
Reviewed February 28, 2012

The attention and the value is incredible. My wife and I have never enjoyed eating at a restaurant as much as the Cliff House. Excellent wine list and service.

Executive chef Scott Savage was there with great food choices - including vegetarian and meat options. Highlight of our getaway weekend

“Great food great value”
Reviewed January 30, 2012

Was really impressed with the quality at the reasonable prices. Had several meals during a recent five night stay including room service. By far one of the most inexpensive room service menus I have seen
I highly recommend the fish and chips and the ahi tuna appetizer. I am generally not that fond of fish and my fiancee orderd the fish and chips one evening. It looked so good that I tasted it and have to admit it was delicious. There were four huge pieces of beer battered cod and a giant plate of seasoned steak fries for only $9.00
The following evening my fiancee and I shared the ahi tuna appetizer which was to die for. It was cooked perfectly with a tempura battered rice cake.
We also had the breakfast buffet every morning which included some perfectly ripe fruit and apple strudel.
I would recommend The Cliff House to anyone visiting Manitou Springs.
