It was everything I need: Comfort. Rooms are cozy, modern, with hair dryer, heater, full amenities and a big bed. There are plenty of towels are well.
The hot tub was a big A+ and management is friendly. Theres housekeeping service everyday and they even make you bed before you go to sleep!
There is no breakfast service but there is a lovely cafe only two blocks away.
All rooms are in the first floor and there is enough parking for all of them.
I was very happy with my stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a room near the hot tub!

This is a very comfortable, clean, convenient motel right in the town of Mancos, which means you can check out the small town's charms right from your doorstep. We used the hot tub, which was a nice treat on a cold moonlit night. Nothing fancy here, but great value for your money. Check out time is a little early @ 10am... I bet they would flex upon request.

We wanted to visit Mesa Verde so decided to stay in Mancos. How lucky were we. The Mesa Verde motel was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and within a short walk to everything in Mancos. Plus it is only 7 miles to Mesa Verde. The staff were very friendly and helpful so much so that we came back once we found out Mesa Verde had reopened! Mancos is a small friendly town with some excellent options for dining.

My wife and I spent 3 nites recently at this fine motel. The rooms were cleaner than any motel
rooms we have ever stayed in.The bed was quite comfortable, the carpets spotless, and we
appreciated the hair dryer and the roll of paper towels provided along with the microwave and
refrigerator. We were surprised to find air freshener in the room-a simple thing that no other facility has ever offered. This is a throwback style travel court-you drive right up to your room-and no worries about climbing stairs!Everything is on one level-including a very well kept hot tub and patio area with a bbq grill. There is a restaurant next door and several others just a few blocks away. The entrance to Mesa Verde park is about 10 minutes from here.We elected to stay in Mancos rather than Durango-much less expensive and no crowds-but very convenient to Telluride.Cortez, and the nearby Ute casino. We caught the Durano train for the 8:45 trip to Silverton-only a 25 minute drive from Mancos to the depot. We wish all motels were like the Mesa Verde!

We were very pleases with our stay at the Mesa Verde Motel in Mancos. It was exactly what you would hope for in an old style motor hotel-- clean, quiet room, everything functioning well, friendly service on check in--and all at a price significantly lower than alternatives we were considering in Cortez. By being located in Mancos, The Mesa Verde Motel is probably the closest overnight option (apart from B&B's) to Mesa Verde National park--our destination the next day. In addition, the small town of Mancos is perfect for a late afternoon stroll, with a nice town park and quaint, quiet streets "off the beaten path". We had a nice dinner at the Millwood Junction restaurant next door, sitting outside on a beautiful evening. In the morning there are several good small local cafe options for breakfast in town.

Room Tip: Our room was in the back on the town side (hotel is L shaped, one side points out towards road)--this may have helped be quieter. However the entire hotel is set back from the main road so really not much noise.
