The bathroom and the room itself was clean however, the carpet was dirty. It has a gravel drive and parking lot and probably it's biggest down fall besides the fact that it doesn't have a pool or jacuzzi.

We stayed at Enchanted Mesa Motel the night before visiting Mesa Verde N.P.. This Motel is in a perfect position to start your visit, but the most important is that it is truely managed by people who has been traveling and knows what a traveler needs. The rooms are clean and nice, everything is right where it should be and there are some small pearls you'll have to discover yourself...

My DH and I stayed at the Enchanted Mesa Motel after a couple of nights in Durango. We wanted something close to Mesa Verde and wasn't impressed with Cortez. Decided to chance it after reading reviews here on TA and am very glad we did. The outside of the hotel is a little rough around the edges...but it still had a nice grassy area with the gazebo and a couple of swings. The hotel is typical motel where you park your car in front of your room, but there are benches outside the rooms and overhang so it feels nice and open. Our room (#4) had a large NEW King Bed that was extremely comfortable. The rest of the furniture was also nice and comfortable....as other reviewers have said, every room comes with a coffee maker, microwave, hair dryer and mid-sized fridge. There was also great wifi. We didn't use it but there is also a barbecue, a laundry room and even a pool table. the bathroom was very clean and although the carpet was a bit worn, it was obviously clean. I liked the art-deco bathroom and the shower was large and good. Did I mention how comfortable the bed is? The hotel was extremely quiet and we never heard other guests, cars or dogs. There is also a continental breakfast included although we just used the coffee in the room and never saw was was supplied. Probably one of the best things about the hotel are the owners Laura and Tom who have owned the hotel for over a year now. They obviously care very much about the hotel and maintain it and keep it very clean. It is nice to stay in a property where the owners care about it. If you enjoy staying in a small motel property that is personal and comfortable at a great price then you would appreciate the Enchanted Mesa. They also have a great expresso bar in town and a delicious bakery cafe. WE enjoyed our one night stay here very much and would definitely return if we are ever in the area.

I stayed here with my brother on a trip to Mesa Verde. A very nice welcome, a good peaceful place to get a good sleep. They had everything you would expect to find in a little motel, but which you don't always find. Fridge, Microwave, Coffee machine and complimentary coffee and tea, tv, great shower, nice toiletries and tourist information in the room.

They were very nice couple who run the place. Nearby is a great Bakery were we got a delicious potato, cheese, bacon and pepper pastry roll and in town is also a fab hatmaker called Nathaniel's, go buy a handmade hat!

We stayed one night in this motel and it was a very pleasant stay. The room is clean and the shower very large. The owner gave us many informations about Mesa Verde and free postcards. There is a kiosk outside where you can eat and grill your meat. A very nice cat family live there too. I couldn't stop to look at the babies playing together.

This is the best place to stay in Mancos, the town closest to the entrance to Mesa Verde National Park. The motel is located several blocks off the highway, so it is very quiet.

The motel is an older property. Honestly, it needs a little bit of work and a few cosmetic touches to brighten it up. That said, the rooms are clean and management was very friendly. The motel also has a very nice, newer, laundry facility.

Price was also right. Once you get past the older look of the place you'll feel right at home.
