Description: The Inglenook Restaurant is-as the name implies-cozy, warm, and comfortable. The Inglenook greets customers with an ambiance of warm colors, a distinctive art collection and soft soothing jazz music that sets the tone for a very enjoyable and relaxed dining experience. The Inglenook Restaurant is somewhat unobtrusive for first time visitors. It is located at 530 North Cleveland Ave. in downtown Loveland Co. at the corner of 6th and Cleveland Ave. There is plenty of parking on both sides of the street and parking lot behind the restaurant. Whatever the occasion- special or not- the Inglenook is definitely a dining choice to be added to anyone's list, and once visited, will remain a top choice for many years to come.

“Surprisingly good”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

For some odd reason, we have never tried this local restaurant, until just two weeks ago.
We will certainly visit it again soon!

It is tucked away on a busy street without much street presence (easy to overlook). The recent interior remodel has created a strange mix of disjointed seating and table arrangements. Likely this was meant to engender a feeling of intimacy - instead it feels strange and not quite right.

But, the lighting is hushed and the music quiet - which do lend well to a relaxing atmosphere. Our waitresses were very nice and attentive. We each got a freshly baked, crusty French roll - which was very tasty (and I ordered an extra one).

Of our two dishes, the medallions was by far the better - and an excellent choice for a first visit. Great flavor, well cooked - but remained incredibly tender! Dishes are plated nicely and all food items well prepared. They have a good wine and alcohol selection. I would very much recommend visiting this local eatery.

“Disappointing”
Reviewed February 8, 2014 via mobile

Nice atmosphere and attentive service. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The grilled romaine salad was good, but difficult to eat because of the large croutons and cheese wafers. I do not eat meat and ordered the Roasted Root Vegetables- unfortunately, it was almost entirely turnips. There were a few beets, two walnuts, and a some carrot pieces. This might have been ok if they were not almost raw. My partner ordered the Bistro Steak which was cooked as ordered but the dish came out with cold meat and hot vegetables. He described the meat as having no flavor. We had high hopes for finding a new "go to" restaurant near our home but it is doubtful that we will return.

“Great food and service”

Loved the duck and the homemade salad dressing. Good price for quality. Small wine list but good variety of types and quality.

“The best in Loveland”
Reviewed November 26, 2013

This is the best in Loveland for simply doing things right. The prices are a little high, but likely necessary to keep them open. Service was excellent even after missing a few opportunities.

The Bistro Steak was the best pieces of meat that I have had in a while. One fewer of the medallions and much more of the "exotic mushroom" sauce would have been better. I was expecting exotic mushrooms, which were not, but the sauce was still excellent.

The overall experience was good, and everyone was friendly and knew their job.

“Could have been awesome.”
Reviewed October 10, 2013

Atmosphere, appetizers, wine list, service were great. One overcooked "medium rare" (not) steak kept it from being great. We will give it another try down the road. PEI mussels appetizer was the highlight.
