The first time we stopped at Henry's was a Christmas eve at past 9 pm. We were desperate to find a place to eat and after so many unsuccessful attempts, we decided to push the door of this place seemingly open and to our surprise, we were hosted with a smile and everyone treating us with kindness. As the waitress was saying: "we are here to serve and feed people as long as people need to be fed. This is what a pub is all about."
On top, the food was good. This was a few years ago and since we were living in the Loveland area, we went back and became known to be regular customers.
Each time, it seems, something was new and more customers were as well filling up the tables. The bar became more popular with now a long list of beer on tap and the food always being good with what anyone would dream to have on one's dining table. The waitresses and waiters are still smiling and interacting with the customers with tact and genuine kindness.
Now, Henry's is a very well known place, well decorated with artworks on the wall, well thought out lighting, great people, great food and great drinks.
As we have been travelling for a while, we realize that there is only one Henry's, missing them for all they gave us. We will be back in the area and will enjoy again our best pub we know.
If you travel on i25 toward Wyoming, or wandering on Hwy 287, or even going up Hwy 34 to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain Park, you should stop at Henry's Pub in the old downtown Loveland. You will enjoy the experience.
