“Cool as Rocky Mountains”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 25, 2014

This is one of the best Embassy Suites I have stayed at. The hotel is relatively new and is close to many shops and restaurants within the area. The hotel is great for both business and pleasure although many patrons at the hotel are staying for business due to the booming Oil and Gas industry in Northern Colorado.
The hotel staff is courteous and very helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and generally the views are good (the rooms on the freeway side have the rocky mountain view). The hotel bar and restaurant serve scrumptious food. Free morning breakfast buffet is limited in options but makes up for it with an omelette bar. There's a starbucks in the hotel which is very convenient feature if you are not interested in the room coffee makers.
The atrium of the hotel features a water fountain and the design gives a feeling of openness. One flaw I saw about the design was that the atrium is open all the way to the ceiling. The rooms are centered around the atrium area all the way to the 8th floor. Most of the room doors face the atrium so when there's a party in the atrium, the voices carry and can get pretty loud (however, to counter that, generally the bedroom is separated from the room lounge by a door, additionally there are a few rooms that are tucked away in the corners).
Overall great hotel for both business and family trips and highly recommended if you are staying in the area.

90% of the time when traveling we stay at an Embassy Suites. This by far is the best one we've stayed at. The atrium is beautiful with a water feature in the center. Lots of seating to relax and enjoy the free managers reception and/or breakfast in the morning they offer daily. The rooms are clean, the beds comfy and the view (west side) is beautiful! As for a high floor for a better view. They also allow dogs (for a fee). We'll be back again!

Room Tip: Rooms on the west side face the mountains!

We love everything about this hotel: the managers' reception every day for 2 hours with free beverages and a few appetizers is a great perk. The atrium area is welcoming. The breakfast brunch was huge and FREE. The room/hotel was impeccably clean. And, add to that, the downright professional friendliness of every employee we encountered.

As a fan of Embassy Suites, this one is totally as you would expect and a bit more. Quite large so not as personal, yet they make up for it in unique ways (games for use while there, books for kids, etc).

It's convenient with large rooms for meetings or families.

They do have a spa for beauty and massage sessions, this is an added bonus!

Thank you for the 5 star review and comments about your visit. I was happy to see your comments about our extra added touches such as the board games and reading library for families. We frequently set up Wii games on the weekends to provide other family interaction opportunities. If you didn't have the opportunity to visit Spa Botanica on this visit, we hope you will dedicate some "me time" on your next trip - it absolutely is "an added bonus". We look forward to seeing you return soon.

Sincerely,
Tom Dwyer, General Manager

Our experience was excellent. We had a corner suite that was very spacious. We always enjoy the manager's reception. The children used the swimming pool that was very clean. We have stayed here a couple of times and would stay again.

Excellent stay at this hotel. The suite was very clean and quiet. We had a great view of the rocky mountains. Also, the managers happy hour with the free open bar and snacks were great to get our night started.

Thank you for your 5 star review! I am delighted that you felt so positive about your visit. Excellence is a tall order but our service team members strive to deliver exceptional experiences every day - it makes me very happy to see that they succeeded. The Rockies are certainly spectacular from any vantage but I hope on your next visit you will have the opportunity to travel up to the Rocky Mountain National Park and celebrate the park's 100th birthday this year - officially it is in 2015 but the celebration begins in September of this year. We hope to see you soon.

Sincerely,
Tom Dwyer, General Manager

This new Embassy suites has better than average beds, rooms, and breakfast. Little touches make it feel like a local property and not a corporate cookie-cutter. Thought the note left on bed and mints was nice touch. Very nice little spa, so allow time for a massage after hiking in the area. Pets are allowed for reasonable price. During the fall they had cider and gingersnaps near the lobby. Good coffee shop with some fun gift items as well. Green chili made many appearances.

Rooms are comfortable, love the separate bedroom from the living room in Embassy Suites. Conference center has many rooms and break-out rooms, with a separate entrance. Free open-air parking. Location is good, not great. Highway property, so easy access but not much in walking distance.

Will certainly stay here again.

Room Tip: Mountain-view rooms are on the interstate side, so pick a higher floor if possible.

What a wonderful recap of your visit! We appreciate your comments and recommendations to other travelers - particularly about Spa Botanica. I was gratified to see that the extra touches we provide made a difference in your experience and satisfaction. We encourage our leadership team to find innovative ways to enhance each guest's experience and it seems they did just that.

With respect to your comments about things to do within walking distance, there will be a new entertainment center opening later this year only a short distance from the hotel. It will offer bowling lanes, laser tag and video games along with other entertainment options. Along with some of the other developments planned for the area in the near future, we know this will enhance your future visits. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Sincerely,
Tom Dwyer, General Manager
