A Great place to stay. We were treated exceptionally great! The free snacks were great! The evening drinks were perfect and the breakfast in morning was excellent. I will say however the coffee was not my favorite, flavored coffee and creamer would be my choice!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I am delighted to see your excellent rating. With respect to your comments about the coffee, we actually are in the process of changing our coffee over to Douwe Egberts which we have received excellent comments about in the past. We hope this change will be a positive improvement when you return. We look forward to seeing you back again soon.

Sincerely,
Tom Dwyer, General Manager

We stayed at the Loveland Embassy Suites for a professional conference. Our beautifully appointed suite faced out to the west with a spectacular view of the Front Range including the magnificent Long's Peak. The meeting rooms and conference facilities are top notch. The complimentary hot breakfasts were outstanding and the complimentary evening manager's receptions (free beer, wine, mixed drinks) excellent. The hotel's location is a bit isolated, especially since we did not have a car. But the hotel's van was available to take my wife to a drug store and downtown for shopping.

Room Tip: We had a suite with a mountain view on the 7th floor. We asked for this since we love the Rocky Mou...

Thank you so much for the great review of your recent visit. I am pleased to see that you were able to enjoy the views of the majestic Rocky Mountains; the snow capped peaks are always a treat in the late Fall and winter. It seems like the only aspect of the hotel that you didn't use was our Spa Botanica. Please come back again soon and include some time for a rejuvenating treatment in the spa. We look forward to seeing you return very soon.

Tom Dwyer, General Manager

Great location for easy access to any northern Colorado points of interest. Ft Collins is just 13 miles north and Estes Park is a mere 30 miles drive. There is an Outlet Mall one exit south and two large outdoor shopping malls near by with all the major retailers IE: Target, Walmart, etc... Plenty of area dinning choices to fit any taste and budget. Just across the highway is a Harley Davidson dealership where you can rent a motorcycle for the day and ride up into the mountains. The hotel itself has it's own restaurant/bar and even a fully staffed SPA for the ladies. It also has a year round indoor swimming/hot tub and a very nice workout room with some free weights, TV's on each treadmill and elliptical machine with free new ear bud headsets available. The best part about staying here is the free breakfast in the mornings. Made to order omelets and pancakes were AWESOME. They also have a manager's reception every evening with a few snacks and open bar, so leave your wallet in the room and enjoy your beverage of choice in the large common area while you watch a sporting event on the big screen TV. Make sure you ask for the code to the complementary 8th floor snack/drink box. With the code you have your choice of many free soft drinks/snacks, but you have to ask for the code.

Room Tip: Ask to be upgraded to the 8th floor mountain view side. Also, ask for the code to the snack/beverage...

What a great review of your recent visit. Thank you for taking the time to recap your experience with us. One thing that we should point out for other travelers is that Spa Botanica is not exclusive to female guests; we do offer services for our male guests too. Also, the 8th floor snack and beverage credenza is limited to use by guests that selected the Premium Suite upgrade prior to arrival or at check-in. This is a new room type that we have introduced which also includes complimentary wifi, a Keurig coffee maker and iHome clock radio in the suites. We look forward to your next visit to Loveland and hope to see you back again soon.

My daughter's softball team stayed overnight at this Embassy Suites while in town for a softball tournament. We didn't arrive there until after a long, hot day and had to leave almost immediately for a team dinner. I was very happy to return to our beautiful room after that. The hotel was very nice, especially for the location, which I didn't necessarily expect. The atrium and eating area is quite nice and it's always great to have a custom cooked omlet for breakfast - one of my favorite things about staying at Embassy Suites. We had to leave right after breakfast for the tournament, but the hotel was nice enough that I was almost sorry we couldn't stay there a little longer.

We had family come in from Minnesota to Colorado and we suggested we all stay at the Embassy Suites in Loveland Colorado. This was a great choice. It is a beautiful new hotel with an above average free breakfast. The adjoining rooms were very convenient for everyone to visit with one another. The location of the hotel on I25 is perfect for access to Rocky Mountain National Park, Craft Brewery Tours in Fort Collins and the Museums and Ball Parks in Denver.

Excellent staff and the room service food is very good. Great place to stay when you are going to a concert at the events center that is located within walking distance. Due to to the floods that we were going through at the time they provided a complimentary shuttle service to the event center that Alabama was performing at. That was a greatly appreciated by all of us going to the concert.

I stayed one night at this hotel and it was a nice place but not great. I am not sure when was the last time this place was updated but the rooms seem like they are from about 1999. The same interior appointments as I had at the Doubletree in Phoenix. The rooms are dark and dreary. The toiletries are below average and the towels are standard budget towels. There were laminated signs in the room. Very budget looking and not a Hilton class item. Though I was on an executive floor there was no paper delivered to the room like other Embassy Suites.

The Managers reception was truly lacking. They had stale looking chips and standard salsa out along with dry meatballs. No sauce for them. If you are a drinker (which I am not) you may be happy as they were mixing drinks. Nothing special for non drinkers.

Breakfast was the typical Embassy Suites fare except much was previously frozen and still was cold when served. The bacon was old and sausages cold. They did have a nice selection of juices in the dispenser besides the normal orange juice. There was an omelet bar which also would make you chocolate chip pancakes.

Beware of the $3.50 water! I am glad I did not open mine. Normally a bottle has been included with all Embassy Suites hotels where I have stayed especially on the executive floor.

Only update I saw in room from after 1999 was the coffee machine which made individual cups. I personally would pick another place to stay for the $200 a night rate.

Tom D, General Manager at Embassy Suites by Hilton Loveland - Hotel, Spa and Conference Center, responded to this reviewResponded September 23, 2013

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I must say, your comments left me bewildered especially based upon all of the excellent reviews we receive. Although you are correct, we have not "updated" the room decor in a while, we only opened in 2009 so we are just 4 years old. I am sorry that you didn't find the decor to your liking. As for the laminated signs in the rooms, those were created with the intent to catch your attention since we have found that many of the professional signs often are ignored or unread.

We have shared your comments regarding the evening reception and breakfast with our culinary team to ensure they evaluate why they didn't deliver the type of high quality food that our guests are accustomed to enjoying. Relative to your comments about the newspaper, after extensive guest satisfaction surveys and realizing that so many guests simply step over the newspaper at their door as they were leaving for the day, the Embassy Suites brand decided to eliminate newspaper delivery early in 2013 to reduce our environmental impact. We still have a few newspapers available at the desk and we also offer a complimentary online version of the USA Today since so many travelers are choosing to receive their news on their personal devices.

Based upon your comments, perhaps our front desk agent did not explain the benefits of the Premium Suite that you were occupying. In addition to the Keurig coffee maker in your room along with complimentary wireless service, you should have had the opportunity to access the snacks and beverages in the credenza by the elevators. This is a new initiative that is being tested by a few select Embassy Suites. It is anticipated that after the test period, the Premium Suite will be introduced to all hotels in the brand. Your comments will be added to our test results for brand consideration. We hope we will have the opportunity to regain your loyalty when you are visiting Loveland in the future.

Sincerely,
Tom Dwyer, General Manager
