“Just tops!”
Reviewed June 4, 2013 via mobile

This is the place I bring out of town guests for breakfast. Rave reviews.
Not a single bad choice on the menu, Lucile's delivers and does so consistently and with a smile.
The Spice tea is so yummy we buy it bulk. Try the Blackened Salmon, Pontchartrain or Pain Perdu with the absolutely divine, wanna-smother-everything-with-it homemade syrup.
Be ready for a wait to be seated and get there early for summer patio seating.

Thanks for putting a little zydeco in my day, Lucile's.

“Good Breakfast Spot”
Reviewed May 16, 2013

The wait can be a bit much, but they give you beignets while you wait. Unique flavors, casual vibe. I have eaten here many times, and have never regretted it.

“Always Yummy!”
Reviewed April 19, 2013

Lucile's is always terrific. Come hungry. Leave packed. We eat at the location in Boulder on occasion and the food consistency between the two places is tremendous. All the food is bad for you so enjoy the indulgence. The biscuits and gravy are sooo good. The grits are perfect and everything comes slathered with Hollandaise sauce (well, not everything) and is perfectly cooked. The charm of the little yellow house with the quaint frayed old soft napkins is wonderful. Great cheerful service. Pricey, but worth the treat.

“Awesome Lunch !”
Reviewed April 8, 2013 via mobile

Wow ! The food had amazingly good flavor from the beans to the sausage . I had the red bean and rice lunch special with sausage and I cleaned the plate ! The old house it's in adds to the great atmosphere and service is very quick and friendly ! I will be coming back for sure !

“Amazing!”
Reviewed February 9, 2013

This is, by far, my favorite restaurant in all of Longmont. Great for breakfast/lunch. It is not open for dinner.

I get the cheese omelet, almost always. They have homemade hot sauce and ketchup. Ok, the ketchup is to die for. I never thought I'd ever love ketchup so much, but hey...there is a first time for everything! Fresh squeezed orange juice--how could you pass that up? Rice pancakes, cheesy grits, potatoes on the side, homemade biscuits with homemade blueberry jam (they do have other flavors, just ask). OMG!

It is a bit pricier than other breakfast places, and there usually is a long wait on the weekends, so be prepared for that. You can always try to call ahead and find out how long the wait is. I think the wait is well worth it. Need I say more?
