“Great Steaks, Great Service!”

We finally found the best restaurant in town, even though it is actually west of town in Loma. Make the drive, you won't be disapointed. These people know beef and how to prepare it. Everything we had was delicious and flavorful without excessive seasonings. All appetizers are original and homemade which is a nice surprise. The menu is to the point and prices are so reasonable for the high quality. They have a full bar, no draft beer however, but some really nice wines. Overall an exceptional evening. Downside is they are only open for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights, but do serve breakfast and lunch 7 days a week, so can't wait to try those meals!

“What a delicious surprise!”
Reviewed July 18, 2011

This was our first trip to the Strayhorn although we had been hearing about it for months. Everything we heard was true. It has a tasteful, western decor with linens and candlelight and has a patio if you like (it was full but we preferred indoors). Our service was perfect. Our food took a little longer to arrive since two very large parties had been seated just before we were, however the food was worth the wait. Our steaks were so good we asked to speak to the owner. She told us she had just cut them and was so pleased we came in. We finished with homemade pie and cinnamon rolls and have never been so full! How exciting to find such a diamond in the rough!
