This place is in a strip mall off of Holly and County Line in South Denver. Kind of unassuming, until you get inside when there are often huge waits most every night. There is a lack of decent mex food in the south suburbs anyway, so this place's popularity is based on that fact and also that the food is really good and consistent. Both are important in a world with a wide range of quality of mex food.
The place is open for breakfast on the weekends and has a live Mariachi band on Wednesday night which you either love or hate. We go off times and off nights, and get chicken burritos and fajitas, mexican steak, mexican pork chops and combo plates. All quite good, the green chili is not too hot. Service is mostly good, but about every fourth visit they server is just not quite on or in synch with the kitchen. Decent chips and salsa also and memorable guacamole.
