“Yummy and inexpensive breakfast”

Gunther Toody's Diner
Ranked #43 of 440 Restaurants in Littleton
Price range: $5 - $20
Cuisines: American
Description: Almost 30 years ago, a couple believed that they could generate the "diner" philosophy in Colorado. These energetic folks knew that a diner had to give the guest four things ; quality food, quality service, a welcoming and fun atmosphere and a clean environment. Thus the "diner philosophy" was put to the test. Back in the summer of 1986, the doors were opened to the first Gunther Toody's in Colorado Springs, CO. A small 100 seat diner came alive and brought with it the sights, sounds and feel of the 1950's and 60's. From the moment the doors opened, Gunther Toody's became an American classic. Gunther Toody's ventured into Denver. It was not long before there was a huge following for our fresh home cooked food and sassy energetic service, all presented in a fun 50's atmosphere. With 5 locations in Denver or Colorado Springs, Gunther Toody's has become the torch bearer for "diners".

We went to this location for breakfast one morning. We all ordered The Big Bopper breakfast which is choice of meat, two eggs, hash browns and toast all for only $2.99. What a bargain!!! The food was cooked perfectly, very tasty, and there was a lot of it. We had great service while we were there and enjoyed it very much. I would highly recommend this location.

This is our burger and shake place. We love Gunther's for their burgers and milk shakes. Don't tell them it is your birthday. You'll be dancing and shaking and hoolahooping!

having eaten at the other Gunthers in Colorado, they have always been a special plae for us. We often bring at least 2-8 others with us. This time 5. The food is always good. the atmosphere which has always been a drawing point , didn't exist on this visit. It started with the manager having an attitude when we asked for the empty large round table rather than the dirty slide in booth. The waitress took her time coming to the table. When she did, my first thought was I wish she had taken longer...like till her shift was over. Don't ask for more than one check, wow nice sneer she had. And she messed it up anyway. The food came wrong, first time ever. I blame the waitress again not the cooks. By the way she still got a great tip.20% + Unfortunitly the restaurant won't ever get our business again.

'50s atmosphere, burgers, fries, etc. Kinda fun...food average. Lots of good oldies on the juke box and the wait staff are cute and friendly, in fact, they sit down at your booth and visit.
