Romano's has been a Littleton staple for many years, for good reason. Their entrees are hearty and satisfying, and the eggplant (which I order every time) is meaty and divine, covered with enough mozz to satisfy my cheese cravings. I like that they offer whole wheat and gluten free pasta.

The decor is quite dated and funky, but you don't go there for ambiance. And, if you go on a busy Friday night, you could face quite a wait. To get to the overflow dining room, you have to walk through the kitchen which is a bit weird, but in an odd way, just adds to the charm.

Another fine restauramt owned and operated by the family. They have a large dining area plus a second area for more parties. The food is freshly made and served at the correct temperature. The bread is very fresh and the salads are crisp and bright in color. Pastas are a great choice but you can also enjoy pizza and other Italian dishes. Parking is off street but rather small. They offer smaller plates for the kids. We have enjoyed this restaurant several through the years.
