Seems odd that 3 out of 5 is "Average" - I would have given this place 2 stars, but "Poor" didn't fit my description. This little suburban "bistro" is a slight cut above Fazolli's with decent enough food, but all the ambiance of a fast food restaraunt; simply a room with Ikea like tables and chairs. If you want simply basic decent italian food with friendly staff, this is probably okay for you, but if you are like me and prefer your dining experience to be more of an all around experience, opt for Virgilio's around the corner or one of several other Italian restaraunts in the area - even Olive Garden has more ambiance than this place.

Bacco Trattoria was a great place. Ambiance and atmosphere are lacking, for sure - if you're looking for the complete fine dining experience. But the food was fantastic and the service was friendly and relaxed. Innovative meals were on the menu.

I went with some work colleagues who had already been to it earlier in the week and wanted to go back - they enjoyed it that much. And no wonder. It's a small place and it was a rainy Thursday evening. We thought we'd have the place to ourselves but we took the last available table space in the place. Even though there were 2 tables set for 4 each (there were 4 of us), they suggested that they should put the (last) 2 tables together for us. Our party had some large men and the servers realized that the extra space would be welcome for us.

It's not inexpensive but for the quality and the imagination that went into the menu items, it wasn't out of line. My husband had one of his favorite beers which is hard to find even in much larger establishments and I enjoyed a great glass of wine with dinner.

We're very glad we visited Bacco Trattoria and we would never have thought to go there except for the reviews on TripAdvisor. Thanks to all the earlier reviewers. Great find.

Bacco is located in a strip mall by Kipling and C470. The interior is open, not all that attractive and not conducive to a evening's experience. With that out of the way - Wow! The food is great! Extensive menu with tasty entrees, wide range of choices and did I mention tasty? They have a great chef that turns everything into cooked to perfection, spiced perfectly delectable s!!!

I had a chicken dish with a grilled thigh and breast on a bed of arugula and mushroom, truffle risotto. Words can't describe how perfect this dish was. Just the right amount if garlic, crispy on the outside - tender inside. My granddaughter had the chicken Parmesan and said it was the best she has ever had. My wife had a great spaghetti and meatball dish. There are appetizers, pizzas and vegetarian dishes as well.

Service was good, wine list functional. Bread with their homemade pesto was wonderful.

In a neighborhood where Applebee's is considered fine dining, Bacco shines!!
