During the summer there is a limited grill menu but the rest of the time you can bring in your own chow from local shops. High Mountain Pies is literally a stone's throw away and will deliver to your table.

Most importantly: if you are looking for drinks in a mellow and safe atmosphere, thus is your place. The drinks are expensive by local standards, which keeps out the hard partiers. The Ginger Rage is a personal favorite and they change the menu regularly to keep it interesting. My favorite drinking establishment in the county.

Moonshine mules, sausages, authentic environment in Leadville. A must stop place when taking independence pass. Good outside seating, beautiful artwork and outstanding service. Guess they have sausages only during summer.

I enjoy their moonshine cocktails and out side seating. They have a TV for the games and give mini shots for Bronco touchdowns. In the summer they have various sausages, but I wish they had food all the time.

The moonshine was very smooth. I can't remember the name of the drink but it was made with ginger beer and lime and very tasty. The owner and staff were very friendly. We took moonshine and whiskey home to our hubby's.

Very small distillery that was serving margaritas made with their moonshine during Boom Days so we tried them. Pretty good considering I am not a whiskey fan (but my husband is).
They also serve game brats if you want to try them. We had already eaten. Elk, Jackalope, buffalo, etc.

They were not really doing tours or tastings like some distilleries do but I think that was because of the Boom Days celebration going on. The bartenders later were playing the bagpipes which was something new.
