“Homey Family Fare”
Reviewed April 25, 2014

We were directed here by a local as her favorite lunch spot. Never would have seen it otherwise, as it is a block or two off the main drag. Cute & cozy Victorian house atmosphere, fun to sit in a window watching historic neighborhood comings & goings, framed by snowcapped mountains. The Chile Rellenos were good. Plain & true home cooking; not too spicy. Margaritas were $3.75 (lunch price?), no complaints there. Enjoyed visiting with the friendly waitress who was very attentive. Noticed several people pick up take out orders of stuffed sopapillas, so that must be their specialty. Will try that next time.

“Terrible Chicken”
Reviewed April 17, 2014

Chicken enchiladas dry and stringy. They charge for chips and salsa. Complaints to management about food go unheeded. Favorite for many locals, but I don't get it.

Looking for a local favorite this is it. Service is quick and friendly. The menu offers a wide variety of favorites. Family owned and operated. Off the main street but easily found.

“Good enough”
Reviewed March 18, 2014

Some of the other reviewers hit it spot on. Same old Mexican food. That doesn't mean it wasn't good. I had the stuffed sopapilla and it was really good. Seemed to be a favorite place for locals if that means anything. Service was a bit slow but there was only one waitress and she was working hard. Place is a converted house a block or two off the Main Street but not hard to find. Parking was a bit limited but not a problem. Eat here and you won't regret it. Bring cash though, they don't accept credit cards.

“Same Old Ingredients, Not So Much Flavor”
Reviewed October 23, 2013

You know what they say about Mexican food...all the same ingredients served in a slightly different way. That's true of Casa Blanca. The food is adequate. The locals flock to the restaurant, though, and that's the real draw. The banter between waitresses, locals, owner and outsiders is worth the bland fare.
