Finally they bring an Italian restaurant back to the Belmar area...the last one didn't do so well and rightfully so. But this one...they'll make it if enough people catch word of it! We tried for the first time tonight and absolutely loved it!! The server was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and smiled and was very knowledgeable about the specials, desserts, and other menu items. Bread was amazing, and loved that instead of the standard oil it came with pesto! The salads were so big!! I would prefer a smaller salad for my pre-entrée dish...definitely didn't need that much salad...but they were delicious! The Caesar was interesting but tasty. My husband had a shrimp pesto gnocchi and I had spaghetti and meatballs. Both were delicious!! Not such a huge portion that you can't finish...agreed that it may be pricier than necessary, but we had no complaints about our food AT ALL! My husband had the tiramisu cheesecake and it was really good as well. Service got a little slow towards the end, but the waitstaff were working their tails off....very busy Saturday night, go early to get seated quickly. We will definitely go back again...might be a little hard to spot near the movie theatre, kind of away from all the other dining...but word gets out quickly in Belmar...lots of foot traffic. Definitely worth checking out!

Stopped in before going to the movies. Had heard that this was related to Osteria Marco in downtown Denver, which we always enjoy!!. Nice ambiance, we were seated right away, friendly service and the menu items looked interesting. We had the french onion soup, eggplant parmagiana and a special - tri tips in a creamy sauce with blue cheese. The soup, which was $6.50 was average, certainly nothing to rave about. Eggplant dish was plain and not very tasty. The special was okay. The tri-tip was very tender and the sauce was okay, but way overpowered by the blue cheese. Honestly, I could have cooked a better version of every one of these dishes at home. They were uninspired and poorly executed.

Prices are a bit on the high side I would say. We often go out and order a few small plates and share, but my husband noted that they charge EXTRA to share. Really???

I wanted to like this restaurant and I think the location is a gold mine. If they up their game ( a lot!) they might make it.
