So disapointed, we wanted to try a new restaurant so I checked all the review sites including Tripadvisor even though we live in Lakewood just up the street from Cafe Jordano. We arrived at 6pm and were seated promptly. It was pretty busy so our experience described below must have been a fluke. Outside of taking our drink and entree orders we were never visited by our waitress until we literally caught her walking by in order to ask for the check. I ordered the Kara's favorite and my husband ordered the Buffalo parmesan. Both were so covered in sauce and cheese that it was difficult to find the meat. I'm not kidding - the entire 10" plate was covered in a sea of sauce and cheese. The salad was also covered in an unnecessary amount of dressing. Perhaps it was a stand in cook who was in the back tonight who thought that you can never have too much of a good thing, but you really CAN. Oh, we also had the mussles which were actually pretty good. Overall, I have no idea how tt his restaurant has received such good reviews. Perhaps it's because it is quaint and because all the bussers seem to be the children of either the owners or the staff and they were pretty attentive. Maybe this was an off night, but we won't be going back.
