Very adequate mid-level suburban hotel. Easy access to the Denver area UNLESS you need to go a distance at rush hour, which will be true at any hotel. Otherwise, the title says it all. And, since TripAdvisor apparently requires that reviews be at least 200 words - like a school term paper - let me see. The décor in the lobby area is unique with a dinosaur fossil theme. Interesting and surprisingly well done. I'm reaching for downsides, but that would be unfair. The hotel is a good value.

My favorite Best Western so far. Hotel is decorated with dinosaur fossils, which is a fun background. Rooms are modern and big. Breakfast is great - Eggs made to order and yogurt among with all the usuals. Restaurant on-site that we didn't get to try. Bathroom was small, but this wasn't a problem for us.

This hotel does not have an elevator so I had to carry my 50 lb suitcase up/down a flight of stairs. They have no vending machines only ice on the first floor. There was a lot of hallway noise and questionable guests. The pool wasn't clear and the staff wasn't helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. They accept dogs so there were a lot of dogs there, mine included. A plus was they had an empty lot next door you could run your dog. For the price I have had better.

Room Tip: Stay away from the rooms near the stairs.

I see that you stayed with us in October, I do apologize that your experience then was not what you expected. Things have changed since then and we have a wonderful staff that are willing to carry your luggage for you. The staff I have now are very helpful with wonderful customer service. if you are ever in the area again i hope you will stop by. We love animals so we are pet friendly and yes, we have a huge dog run. Our Pool was down at that time and has been clean and clear for awhile.

Family in Lakewood, so the location was great. The people at the front desk were great. The breakfast crew gets two thumbs up, especially Lu and the lady cooking eggs. It was a better than average breakfast experience.

Beds were comfortable. Pillows were terrible. Bathroom was teeny tiny. Had cold water in the bathroom one morning, the next day had lukewarm water...too cold for showers.Fairly clean....too much of that "stinky" spray that's supposed to make you think the room is cleaner than it is.

Our room phone rang late one night, no one there. Then next morning started ringing at 6am,3 times, no one there again. Called front desk. .they said they were having trouble with their system. (Our son in another room had the same problem...he was smart enough to unplug his ohone) Front desk put our phone on "Do not disturb. "

Gym was adequate, 1 modest treadmill, 1 bike, 1 universal weight machine. TV would only pick up 1 channel (Spanish speaking)...when I called to ask about how to change channels, the maintenance man came and said he couldn't fix it..a "Comcast problem" that was also tied to the phone problem. We were there for 6 nights and it was never fixed.

All and all....needs attention! !

Great stay, clean and nice. Great breakfast included. Will definitely stay again when in the Denver area. Like the interior design with all the dinosaurs. Really enjoyed the breakfast as had multiple selections.
