After flying in from UK and booking into B&B in Applewood, Denver we were recommended Tellers as a great local restaruant/pub. It hit the spot!. The 1/2lb Whiskey Burger cooked to perfection and washed down by a few Colorado beers from a vast range of draft local, national and international selection. Ended up with a second visit on our return to trip to UK on Valentines day. They were running a special meal but not forcing it on to the customers. Great to have the choice. Both times excellent service, food and drinks. Well recommended. Thanks.

We went to celebrate my Dad's birthday. We made it a half hour before happy hour ended, so we just ordered from the happy hour menu. We all did a "Choose your own" flight of beers, which is great. They also have a great birthday special - the best I've ever heard of - $25 in drinks or 5 free drinks, whichever comes first. Pretty impressive! They have a good selection of beers that you normally don't see on draft (we're beer snobs and don't enjoy that foreign-owned giant swill that seems so popular, based on commercials...). I think they had one of the friendliest staffs anywhere. On our way out, 4 people graciously thanked us for coming in and said goodbye. That doesn't happen in most places. Really nice atmosphere, creative use of non-typical interior building materials that looked really nice.

We will be back, and I highly recommend going, especially on your birthday (just have someone else drive). Only complaint - their parking lot is particularly small, so be aware you might have to park across the street.

We stopped by Tellers for a casual dinner because we had heard the food was good. What a great find! I had the Whiskey Burger and it was cooked just the way I asked with delicious homemade steak sauce and Gorgonzola cheese. We also had their own tomato bisque soup which is the best I've ever tasted. Service was great and the manager made a point of coming by to check in.
You can't go wrong in getting a good meal here!

Backwater part of town (Applewood?) but the exterior is inviting. After a bad first impression when the bartender/host made a big deal at 2 o'clock in the afternoon about whether our party of four could have one of the all empty booths ("I guess. Let me check our reservations" - oh please), and then every booth other than ours remained empty for the next two hours... our server Chelsea made up for that by being one of the best we've EVER had in Denver, where servers are efficient at best but seldom friendly.

The fried Brussels sprouts starter is to die for and the onion rings were good. But the beers, oh the beers. This is Denver so to say the selection of craft beers impressed the hell out of us is saying something. Come to Applewood for the selection of beers!

Two of us drove down the hill from Conifer and two came from Park Hill to eat here and we'll definitely come again. Hopefully someone other than the bartender will seat us next time.

We stopped by in the afternoon. The lot is small, so they offer Valet parking. There is a big lot across the street you can use. They had a nice variety of happy hour appetizers. The price was great and we just ate these instead of dinner. Neat place.
