“Surprise in Wheatridge”
Reviewed January 9, 2013 via mobile

We stopped by Tellers for a casual dinner because we had heard the food was good. What a great find! I had the Whiskey Burger and it was cooked just the way I asked with delicious homemade steak sauce and Gorgonzola cheese. We also had their own tomato bisque soup which is the best I've ever tasted. Service was great and the manager made a point of coming by to check in.
You can't go wrong in getting a good meal here!

“Avoid the bartender and it's golden!”
Reviewed December 21, 2012

Backwater part of town (Applewood?) but the exterior is inviting. After a bad first impression when the bartender/host made a big deal at 2 o'clock in the afternoon about whether our party of four could have one of the all empty booths ("I guess. Let me check our reservations" - oh please), and then every booth other than ours remained empty for the next two hours... our server Chelsea made up for that by being one of the best we've EVER had in Denver, where servers are efficient at best but seldom friendly.

The fried Brussels sprouts starter is to die for and the onion rings were good. But the beers, oh the beers. This is Denver so to say the selection of craft beers impressed the hell out of us is saying something. Come to Applewood for the selection of beers!

Two of us drove down the hill from Conifer and two came from Park Hill to eat here and we'll definitely come again. Hopefully someone other than the bartender will seat us next time.

“Very good happy hour”
Reviewed December 16, 2012 via mobile

We stopped by in the afternoon. The lot is small, so they offer Valet parking. There is a big lot across the street you can use. They had a nice variety of happy hour appetizers. The price was great and we just ate these instead of dinner. Neat place.

“Needed Addition to the Neighborhood”
Reviewed October 26, 2012

I have been to Teller's twice for lunch and once for dinner. I was impressed every time. I loved the fried Brussel's Sprouts, the Yellowfin Tuna salad and the Melted Monk Sandwich. The Happy Hour was lively. We had the wine, which is a dollar off per glass. They have a menu of happy hour food such as nachos, hummus and pita chips, meatballs...$5.00 each. The service was friendly and efficient. My husband said that the French Dip Sandwich was one of the best he ever had. The conversion from a convenience store to a restaurant is well done. We will be making Teller's a regular place to eat.

“Everything was great, well though out, and enjoyable!”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

Everything about this place was great. The food, atmosphere, beer selection, staff, cooked burgers, selection, happy hour, etc. a little out of place in this neighborhood, but very welcome! Highly recommend. Even complimentary valet parking.
