This restaurant is set in a strip center and has a fairly basic but nice atmosphere. I did a three meat combo of pulled pork, sliced brisket, and hotlinks with BBQ beans and marinated slaw for sides. It is also served with an interesting cornbread and a drink for $14.00.

Regarding the meat, the pulled pork was pretty good but didn't have a lot of flavor. The brisket was slightly over cooked but was still tender and had decent flavor. The hotlinks were good, with nice flavor and texture. They were already out of ribs when I got there just before 7pm but were cooking more.

Their sauce and sides are good. The portion though on the three meat combo isn't very big, probably 8-10 ounces of meat. With the meat, sides, cornbread and a beer, it was plenty filling if you have a normal appetite.

It's worth checking out if your in the area and looking for BBQ. I would definitely check out the smoked turkey or chicken and the ribs and see how they are.

Being from Texas I have high expectations for BBQ. The ribs were awesome. So tender and moist. They didn't even need sauce. Everything else was below par to me. The brisket was on the dry side and was chopped instead of sliced. Potato salad had too many onions Nd the beans were baked. I'd rather have spicy pinto. Lots of room for improvement here.

By "new" I mean new to me, never having tasted the zippy/smokey combination on ribs that Moe's offers. Alabama - Louisiana - Deep South BBQ? I dunno. I need to travel and read more, I guess. Simply put, a pleasant surprise. I'd like to give the place a 3 1/2 star rating, because overall it is better than average. Highlights: Wife's pulled pork sandwich, tasty ribs, great tasting marinated slaw, and cake-like, pepper-speckled cornbread. Lowlights: Prices on plates seem a couple of bucks too high, potato salad is mustard-y but also ordinary, and the place needs to be cleaned up and refurbished - it looks as if they just moved in after Brothers vacated and pulled some of the old paraphernalia off the wall without patching and painting.

Moe's is really good ,they seem to have raised their prices , no longer have takeout wing specials on Mondays, bummer .Great barb but a little too expensive ,never any coupons or deals anymore. I paid 16.00$ for 4 ribs ,small, 2sides and a beer. They have a lot of competition very near with lower prices and honor Denver deals ect. Good food but I can't afford to go there very much .

Not having been near this place fo awhile, I was shocked to find the old BBQ gone (Brothers), and Moe's was here (for three years). I had the pulled pork, and (I know it sounds strange) IT TASTED LIKE PORK!!! Too often, bad bBQ is covered up with smoke. Not here. I had pork for lunch, not smoke flavored meat, pork. And it was good. So much better than the "Brother's" that was here. Go and try some!
