From the moment I stepped through the door I was taken back to all the westerns I read and watched. The feel is very warm friendly and inviting, antiques and beautiful woodwork throughout the whole place. The owners are amazing, friendly, and have endless knowledge of the history of the town, and the hotel. My room was warm comfy and clean, each room has a different theme of the old west. My stay was amazing and I'm going back to enjoy again and take in all the breath taking sites all around.

This hotel is located in a small wild west town that's centrally located among several resorts. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and the decor will take you back in time with each room having a different wild west theme. It's a fun way to learn about different people in history. Besides the hotel being unique and historic, the owners, Walt and Maryann, will make you feel right at home. There's home made cookies on Friday nights, or a story or two about the area and famous visitors who have stayed at the hotel. The lobby is also warm and welcoming and has a great sit area to meet other guests. The prices are fantastic. They offer prices to fit anyones budget. We loved this hotel, and will definitely by back.

Our hockey team was stuck in Kremmling when a blizzard closed the highways. Hotel Eastin took in all the families, without reservations, and made sure we were all comfortable. Super cool building and decor will remind you of the wild west. Prices were fantastic, they could have raised them based on the desperation to find a room in town but they did not. Our kids loved it and want to go back this summer and stay there again. The owners were great and more than helpful with anything we needed. Five stars for us.

Room Tip: I recommend the western wing. We stayed in the tombstone room and it was really cool.

This is the most charming and delightful hotel. The owners are terrific and look after the guests as if this were some 5-star joint! The smell of fesh-cooked cookies is amazing, the welcome is gracious, the lobby has an old-fashioned sense of fun.

The rooms are spotlessly clean and individualistic. OK, there are no luxuries here, but the place is very comfortable and has the character missing from so many other places. The prices are very low for the quality of both rooms and welcome, and note that Rocky Mountain National Park is within range and this is a much nicer place to stay the night before or after a visit than the overpriced and boring places next to the park.

Excellent experience -- well done on offering such a great stay!

We discovered Hotel Eastin in Kremmling, CO by chance. Or maybe it was fate... It's a delight to find a spot like this in Colorado, truly unique, truly original and very inspiring in a culture bereft with homogeneous hotels and car-centered destinations. The Hotel Eastin is a truly historic venue and harbors the Old West in a classic and meaningful way. Boarding rooms here are reminiscent of the once common mission style accommodations, and not entirely unlike Ojo Caliente's resort. The Western suites are chic and spacious, plus casually romantic. Otherwise, take a trip back in time to when Zane Grey, your father's favorite author, boarded there, at the end of the hallway, in the "rooms up" of what once was a sarsparilla factory. Best part: The Innkeepers' Van Lue

Room Tip: Western Suites are very private and have lots of sunlight

I stayed here for 2 nights of a 33 night roadtrip and wish it had been for longer! The hotel is 107 years old and is being carefully refurbished by the owners, but without taking away that old charm it has. Walt and Maryann are the sweetest, kindest hotel owners I have ever met and it was a pleasure to stay at the Eastin. Nothing is too much trouble, their knowledge of the area is superb and on my second night some friends of theirs from Wheat Ridge were staying so there was musical entertainment (guitars and singing - not by me as I'm useless at both!!) and exchanging tales of travel and everyday life, which meant that this evening was one of the highlights of my trip. My room was quite basic, but was spotlessly clean, had a fridge and a small shower room, and was more than comfortable. The area is stunning, and much more "real" than pretty but sanitised mountain towns like Breckenridge and Steamboat Springs. Also, don't be put off by it being a small town in the mountains - everyone I met was really friendly and welcoming (being a Limey there's no way I can blend in once I open my mouth!). Would I stay here again? 100% yes, and many thanks for a wonderful stay...

The Zane Grey room was magical. A Petite space but a cozy one of a kind room. it made for a very romantic weekend getaway visiting the valley and a nearby dude ranch. The western rooms looked nice for a bit more space - Walt gave us the grand tour. It's great what they're doing to make the hotel more comfortable and authentic.
