The Eastin Hotel is beautiful, extremely clean, and cozy. It smells like homemade cookies and the owners, Maryann and Walt are the most welcoming and cheerful people I ever met. He is Santa Claus every year because he loves to surprise little kids..The Eastin is a place filled with the spirit of Christmas all year round and I actually took a second trip to Kremmling just to visit the owners again!

Thank's so much for your review! We work very hard keep things clean and to make our guest feel at home. The cookie smell is because Santa lives here all year long and cookie night is Friday Night.

Myself and a friend came to the area for some fly fishing on the Colorado River. Our plan was to stay for two days and fish a couple of different sections of the river locally. To make a long story short we ended up staying 5 days instead. It is a very small town but the people are extremely friendly and the owners of the hotel we're beyond accommodating. I would agree with some reviews that the in room bathrooms are very small. However, the hotel is from the early 19 hundreds and to continue with its historical significance those types of changes would be difficult to make. The room with a shared bathroom in the hall was $45. We chose to select a room that had its own bathroom and only paid $65. I would have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone that is traveling through the area and have already determined that when we arrive next year to fly fish again we will definitely stay at the Hotel Eastin.

If you're looking for a place to stay out of the hustle and bustle of the cities, and looking for an interesting place with character and rustic charm this is the place.
Walt and MaryAnn were wonderful hosts. Truly enjoyed just sitting with them and listening about their lives and the history of the hotel, and the "who" in history has stayed there.
Would definitely recommend this to anyone, and will be returning again....especially during Christmas time.
Thank you for a wonderful experience.

This was a last minute booking for an overnight stay. The hotel has been recently remodeled by the new owners. The service was great, and the rooms in the Western Wing are nice. Don't expect the Ritz, but do expect clean, nice, friendly, and affordable. We'll be back!

Room Tip: The rooms in the Western Wing have bathrooms; the others are European style with bathrooms down the...

Old style, rustic hotel...perfect. Walt and MaryAnn were very gracious, fvery riendly hosts. Stayed in the Zane Grey room. Be sure to push the big red button inside the door to get all outlets and lights to work!....LOL. Excellent stay. Too bad it was only one night. Hotel was there when I worked on a cattle ranch outside of Kremmling the summer of 1980. Lived in the pink a house right behind the hotel that summer. Will definitely stay at the Hotel Eastin next time I go visit Kremmling.

Room Tip: No pool and no restaurant on site, but the Moose and Quarter Circle Saloon are within walking distan...

We stayed here to break up the drive from Denver to Steamboat. The hosts were so sweet! They wished us well on the snowy drive up and asked how it was when we arrive. They offered us an upgrade due to booking the room we wanted, so it worked out great! She offered us plates, forks and napkins to eat the food we had brought into our rooms. She recommended a breakfast place that worked out great. She has homeade cookies for us as well, and they were amazing! The rooms were clean, old fashioned and basic. If you are looking for a fancy place, this is not it. If you are looking for clean, functional and helpful, this is the place! The beds were comfy, the towels were soft. The only thing is the shower head was made for really short people! I had to squat low in there! Also, no conditioner, so for anyone with long hair, bring your own.

Room Tip: We had a west wing room. It was quiet and large for a couple and a teenager.
