The Keystone Lodge and Spa was the sight for an annual 'retreat' for scrapbooking women in late April. The first thing I noticed was how helpful the staff was -- from helping to unload vehicles of our vast amounts of luggage, to providing constantly cheerful waitstaff that performed tirelessly throughout the weekend. The Lodge management team also went the extra mile in the evenings. As the Spa, pool, and hot tubs all closed at 8:00pm, with many women looking to enjoy a late evening soak, the management arranged for transportation to another pool / spa at another location in the resort from 8 to 10 pm.
The whole lodge was beautifully maintained, and the actual rooms were just gorgeous. The beds and linens were as luxurious to sleep in as the rooms were to look at. Colorado comfort at its best. And it was wonderful to start the day on the balcony enjoying the views. If there was one negative, it was the local bird population seems to enjoy those balconies as well . . . so wear your slippers!More
