“Very Special Dining”

Keystone Ranch Resort
Reviewed June 2, 2012

The Ranch is a stand out in Summit County cuisine.
Rustic atmo in a real mountain setting. You could actually see a bear
or elk on the drive in. Not your typical golf clubhouse which this is during the day.
Creative fresh food that ranges from very good to a revelation. Excellent service.
If they offer dessert and drinks/coffee in the big lounge - accept both. Beautiful
room. Makes the evening extra special. Always worth it if 2 for 1's are offered in
slow season. I'd leave the small kids at home. It's relaxed, they're not snotty but
it is serious dining. Enjoy!

The only thing which keeps the Keystone Ranch from being the best restaurant in Summit County is that it has slightly less atmosphere than its main rival in excellence, Ski Tip Lodge. But it's bigger, so it's often easier to get a reservation, and it's hard to separate the two in terms of quality of food and service -- they are both head and shoulders above everyone else. Having dessert in the big lodge room adds a special touch to the evening, which most people seem to really enjoy, as it allows a level of socialization that few other restaurants provide. A special place.

Went there for the half price deal in off season. As I am a local and could not afford to eat there otherwise It was a quite a while ago and do not remeber everything we had.
I remember the Fois Gras was incrediable as was everything else. The room is beautyful and has a rustic ranch feel to it. The service was impeccable. Not overbearing at all. "Perfect"
Probably the best dining experience of my life and I have been to many of the best rated resaaurants in the country. Keep it up.

We wasted a lot of time looking for this place. All we found were the stables and condos. Signage said it was where we were looking as did the GPS but no restaurant.
