Our party, 4 adults and 2 children (10 and 12) had the best time at La Rosa de Pedro. The villa is spectacular, everything we'd hoped it was. Spotlessly clean, well furnished, and enormous. Cesar and Pedro were very helpful. We did have a problem with the boiler but this was fixed within a couple of hours of reporting it. Showers were a bit dodgy but we got used to them. The pool is lovely and surrounded by gardens, the kids definitely made full use of it - so did adults who hadn't swam in years. Spectacular scenery, the villa is right in heart of Spain, no beaches but no yobs either. We were able to walk into town but the walk to the bus station (the only place you could catch a bus) was a bit far. The upside is that there is a little oasis, a small bar with cold beer and very good tapas, a really nice area to wait for the bus, owned by a delightful lady who helped us so much to arrange taxis. We maybe would have been wise to hire a car but we did get used to the walk. We would recommend La Rosa de Pedro to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday in real Spain. We had comfort and culture and would certainly return.
