I am surprised by the negative reviews! While we have never tried the buffet (and those are hard to do well) we have NEVER been disappointed nor had poor service. We had an excellent waiter tonight! There was a young lady who provided assistance to all the waiters thus creating top notch service for all the diners! The food is always delicious and plentiful! I bring people who think they don't like Indian food here to change their mind! Give it a try!

“Very poor all round”
Reviewed January 16, 2014

Food was average on the whole but the rice actually smelled musty and was not at all enjoyable. When we asked the server about it, he denied there was anything wrong but refused to try it himself to check he was not mistaken. We ordered naan bread instead but they didn't even leave this off the check as a goodwill gesture. Three times we asked for something that never arrived and the teenage servers were so unprofessional it was embarrassing. They didn't even know what we meant by "chutney". Unfortunately for local diners, they have a great location right next to the movie theater which keeps them in business and overcharging for it.

“Skip the buffet”
Reviewed November 13, 2013

It did not even look appetizing at recent lunch. Took my son and his wife there for their first Indian meal. They liked their fare, and some of my chicken masala. Was very empty place with a lot of tables available. Not much atmosphere, and it was the start of Malawi festival,so expected some enthusiasm of the apparent non indigenous staff.

“average food, friendly but uninformed server”
Reviewed October 4, 2013

Went there on the misunderstanding that it was related to another Indian restaurant that we liked. Everything was perfunctory, including the service. While our waiter was friendly, it appeared that he was in his first week. Parts of the order were missing and it was difficult to make eye contact with anyone.

“Never again...rude, insulting server.”
Reviewed September 21, 2013

The food is ok. Nothing exceptionally tasty. No paneer. Regular buffet fare. The restaurant is starting to look old and grungy. The utensils look a bit dirty.
For $10, it's not even a great value.

The worst part was our server, Austin. When asked to correct our bill, he started spouting insults. He was unbelievably rude and insulting. Accused us of all sorts of things. Naturally we were taken aback by his outburst. When we asked for the manager, he told us we could 'go find her yourself'!!! This person should not be working in the restaurant business.
Needless to say we will never return. Being verbally abused by a server for NO reason is not something we enjoyed.
The manager did step in, had to yell at Austin to 'shut up' as he was STILL abusing us, and forced him to apologize to us. And while we appreciate her standing up for us (we've gone to this restaurant for years) this experience was unacceptable.

Avoid this place. There's other decent Indian buffet places.
