“Rather Average”
Reviewed July 14, 2013

We've lived in this area for quite a while but just never got around to eating here, so we decided to give it a try. We were seated in the back room which is quieter than the main room, but it lacks any ambience or atmosphere. It appears to be a room that may have originally been used for parties. We started with the Diablo Eggs which sounded interesting but turned out to be not much different than your basic deviled eggs. The beer battered fish tacos were pretty good but nothing to rave about. And the "King Ranch Casserole" Green Chili & Cheese Stacked Enchiladas with Chicken were pretty disappointing. The enchiladas ended up becoming one mushy pile while the chicken was served on the side, not IN the enchiladas. We gave it a try, but we won't be back with so many better places to eat.

“It was really just ok”
Reviewed June 15, 2013

We were seated very quickly which I took to be a good sign. Drinks were served efficiently and the wait staff was pleasant enough.

However, the food was just 'eh.' Our entrees did not seem quite warm enough--the mac and cheese in particular seems to have been sitting out on a cool counter top for enough time for the bottom of the bowl to be fairly inedible.

Flavors good--food just not quite there this evening

“Great place to host a party in their back room!!!”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

Our son picked OBL to have his graduation party at since he had been to a few events there previously. It was very easy to book and pick food from the catering menu. The OBLstaff was very gracious and accommodating to our entire party and we received many complements on the food from our guests. Thank you OBL for making a good day even better!!!

“Cool atmosphere”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

This restaurant isn't cheap. Try going for happy hour. If you order several happy hour appetizers, it will be enough for dinner. The atmosphere and decor is neat!

“Fabulous happy hour”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

Happy hour is 4 P.M. - 6 P.M. Monday through Saturday and includes drink specials as well as a great bar menu. Most food items are five or six dollars and delicious! The restaurant's decor is marvelous and relaxing. A small room divider near the front has a slimline gas fireplace on top, and the outdoor patio has a gas fire pit.
